|DJ Csikos||George Vernon Ross died 2003|
Hello: Am researching a distant cousin of a friend and found that she was married twice.
Bernice Chism wed George V Ross on 14 Dec 1967 (HumboldtCnty CA); in 1975 Bernice wed Wayne Brower.
Question is...is your George Vernon Ross my George V Ross; am hoping that he is a family member and you might know that answer. Seems that he most likely is the right person I am searching for, but there is no positive link that yours is mine (from on-line searching)
Any help welcome. Dianna Csikos
|Charlotte Powell||Eunice Murphey Allphin|
Eunice is on the stone with John Allphin at Miller Cemetery in Millersburg. She is actually buried at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial, Portland. She died in Portland. Please make a note on the Miller burial records.

It is a duplicate that was entered prior to the person's deceased date.
|Charlotte Powell||Mary Ann Wooldridge|
Mary Ann's maiden name is Millman. I know the death certificate is a bit hard to read.
|Charlotte Powell||Eunice Allphin|
Eunice is actually buried in Portland, Wilhelm's Portland Memorial. The stone in Miller Cemetery in Millersburg has her name along with her husband's but she is not there. You might make a note of this.
|lawman||GRACE MATILDA ANNA RICE 20377506|
Grace Matilda Anna Rice (Findagrave.com memorial number 20377506) is not buried in the Kingston Cemetery. She died in a fiery automobile crash on Federal Highway 48 in San Joaquin County, CA, on 16 May 1930. She is buried in the Stockton Rural Cemetery in Stockton, San Joaquin County, CA. Ray Rice, a nephew of the deceased, would appreciate your adding this note to the memorial you created for Grace. He wants family to know where she is buried. Thank you.

I have a correction to make in the material I gave you earlier about Effice Hogue McDonald. Here is the correction:
Effie Lee Hogue married Marion Rice on 22 Dec 1881 in Pike County, MO. After the death of Marion Rice, Effie Rice eventually went to Kitsap County, WA. While there, she married D. A. McDonald on 8 Oct 1916. It appears that James Barton Rice, the son of Marion and Effie Rice, was present at the wedding. He signed the Certificate of Marriage as a witness. The other witness was P. S. Turner, the Justice of the Peace who officiated at the wedding. Mr. McDonald apparently died prior to the 1920 federal census as Effie is listed in the census as a widow.

|lawman||THE RICE FAMILY|
Clarence James Franklin Rice (memorial number 20180850), Grace Matilda Anna Rice (memorial number 20377506), and Barbara Jean Rice (memorial number 20439779) are all buried in the Kingston Cemetery in Kitsap County, WA. They are all children of James Barton Rice (memorial number 77116380) and Matilda Mary Lemke (not Locke) Rice (memorial number 168607306). I would appreciate your connecting up the children to their parents. I left an edit about one week ago, but no action has been taken. If you need verification, the family tree is on Ancestry.com. Look for James Barton Rice (1883-1965).
