|Derek Tolman||Hannah Holman Tolman d.1757|
Canton town records indicate that it was Hannah Shepard who married this Thomas Tolman on 27 October 1750. Can you tell me the source for giving her maiden name as Holman? Thanks for contributing these valuable pictures and information!

Thanks again for your info on Dorchester North for Caroline and James Lake. Do you know of any sites listings burials for Dorchester South - other than the city of Boston website.
I tried looking at the annual report of cemetery dept for Boston for different years, but they all seem to have the same cemeteries listed in each publication - and nothing for Dorchester South.

Thank you for your information on Caroline's burial site in Dorchester North. I found the document that you referred to and have added the cemetery to her memorial. I checked the city of Boston's cemetery website and was unable to find her listed there, so I appreciate your information. Thank You!

|AAW||James Lake, Dorchester North|
Thanks for the info.I created a memorial for Caroline that places her in the correct cemetery and linked her to James. (The reason that I created a memorial for Caroline is that the member who created the "burial unknown" version of Caroline's memorial may never place her memorial in the documented burial place; she does not seem interested moving her "burial unknown" memorials to their documented burial places even after the correct burial places have been pointed out to her. However, if she ever does move her "burial unknowns" to their correct burial sites, I will delete my (semi)-dupes).
Find a grave should reference that Annual Report for Dorchester North cemetery rather than just the city of Boston's visible gravestones website since it has so much more info.

|AAW||James Lake, Dorchester North Burial|
Would you please tell me what is the source of your claim that James Lake, died Oct 1861, is buried in Dorchester North Burial Ground? I ask because his name is not listed among those with a "visible headstone" according to Boston's website about the city's historic burial grounds.
Also do you have any information as to where his wife Caroline (d 1891) might be buried?

|Darmaca||Captain Edward Foster|
In researching my family I came across the wonderful page you set up for Captain Edward Foster $40524108. I do have some information that would require an edit to the page. You have Ruth Tileston Foster listed as his mother who died in 1677. Captain Edward Foster was born in 1682 so Ruth Tileston Foster could not have been his mother. His father Timothy Foster (1640-1688) married a second time to Relief Holland and had more children with Relief with Captain Edward Foster being one of those children. I have not found any burial information on Relief Holland.
