Bio Photo Transfers under the following guideline. I've learned a long time ago you can't please everyone and I'm not going to try. For you who like to break the rules, don't waste your or mine time. If your request is outside my guidelines, I will ignore and delate your request.

GUIDELINES:

Generation 1: your family -- Husband - wife - your children - son-in laws - daughter-in-laws - grandchildren.

Generation 2: your and spouse parents -- Father - Mother - aunts - uncles - 1st cousins - wives and hubands of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Generation 3: Grandparents - their siblings and their children -- huband and wife of siblings and children.

Generation 4: Great Gradparents - their siblings and their children - huband and wife of siblings and children.

NO transfers beyond the great-grandparents and NO transfers of Revolution Soliders or Civil War Soliders or Sailors.

This is a MUST!!! You have to tell me your RELATIONSHIP to the person you want transfered and PROVE if I shoud ask FOR proof. No relatonship...no transfer.

Don't waste my time with: I went school with...I do research for another person would you consider transfering...they were neighbors to my grandparents...I work with this person...they were my neighbors when I was a kid...just this once would consider breaking the rules...ect. ect. ect. If you are not related, forget it. My transfers go to family members who fall within the guide lines.

For you who think there should be no rules and should transfer every request that comes down the pipe, take it up with Find A Grave. They're the ones who set the rules.

CORRECTIONS: For you impatient persons who believe your request should be answered in a 24 hours period of time. Get Real! I may have 30 or 40 other requests before yours comes in. I do answered all corrections but it might take several day or weeks. I don't spent 24-7 at the computer. I know this is hard for you to believe but I do have a life outside the computer. I do have family and friends I spent time with, I have a part time job, yard ward, house keeping, grocery shopping, library research, visiting cemeteries for tombstones to photograph, searching cemeteries for requested tombstones and other chores that has to be do.

MY PERSONAL GOAL: My reason for joining Find A Grave is to presrve graves and their tombstones. That's where the bulk of my time on the computer goes, adding people and their tombstones. Corrections and tranfers are done when I can find extra time in the day. So if it takes me one or two months to answering your requests, so be it. Don't give me any guff, that if I can't keep up with the requests, I should transfer the memorials to someone who can. Get Real!! It won't happen!

Richard

Thanks so much for transferring Mary to my care!
I really appreciate people like yourself who devote so much time and attention to creating memorials for strangers! It is a true gift to families, especially those who have moved to other states and don't have easy physical access to their relatives grave sites.

Patricia Remali
Sandra Catherine or Charlene Horn
Memorial# 85267632
May I please ask why she is listed with Catherine as a middle name but her stone reads
Charlene?

If you or anyone has found a document showing Catherine, please share.

Thanks for your hard work, and helping others find info they need to fill in gaps.

Good morning Richard,

Thank you SO very much for taking the time to research George and Mary A Moore Kelly and entering the info! And thank you for reconsidering transferring management to me. I agree, the photo of the headstone should remain as it is probably his. Would love to know how the inscription is so "off" but it does happen as I have found major errors on death certs.

I would love to manage the family if you don’t mind transferring them to me:
Mary Ann Moore Kelly Find A Grave Memorial# 69225493
Strauther S Kelly Find A Grave Memorial# 69225632 If you prefer to not transfer, would you mind adding Strauther's birthdate – 1858, source: 1860 Salem, NE census.

I would like to add that George, Mary, and Strauther passed away within 11 months of each other and the remaining children went to live with Mary’s parents. There’s another daughter (Annette) but I haven’t found where she’s buried.

Thanks again for your time, effort, and the consideration you have given to me with this and your invaluable work over the years!

Richard ~ thanks so much for your prompt reply to my message yesterday! Sorry to belabor the point and take up more of your time; however, according to old family records and the 1860 Salem, NE census, my husband’s great grandfather (George Kelly), wife Mary A Moore, children Orpheus, Strauther, Emma Amanda (Walter) was born about 1827, not 1840 as indicated on tombstone. I guess it will remain a mystery concerning our George and the tombstone you so diligently transcribed and entered. I certainly understand your unwillingness to delete the tombstone photo and transfer management as I requested. Thank you for doing the Baldwin Cemetery – I so appreciate knowing where they are buried and having photos of headstones. You are a blessing to all researching their roots!

Hi Richard,
First of all, thanks so much for all of your transcription work! What an invaluable service! You transcribed the headstone for George Kelly correctly; however, the George Kelly that is my husband's great grandfather and connected to the family listed with this entry doesn't match. Our George was born in 1827 not 1840 and died Dec 14, 1865 not Dec 24, 1861 as on headstone. The headstone for this George Kelly must belong to a different family.
I'd like to correct the dates and delete the headstone photo to remove confusion. Would you mind transferring management to me?
Thanks so very much, Maxine Kelly

Correction for #87070753
Hi, Richard,
I am working in the records for the John Boggs Cemetery, Madison County, KY trying to put in the family relationships. One of your entries assigns a collateral line rather than the direct line for Emily Amanda(ville) Boggs 87070753. She is correctly assigned to her mother Nancy Boggs 147459468, also buried in this cemetery. The family does not know who Emily A. Boggs's father was and Nancy never married. The person listed as her father is actually one of her cousins. I am descended from one of Nancy's brothers and have done extensive research on the family. Let me know how you want to handle this. I appreciate any assistance you can give for this.
Thanks!

RE: lucy Brame
Hi Richard. Thanks so much for adding Lucy's obituary to her memorial. Van Buren is the county seat of Carter County, MO. The Current Local newspaper has been in publication since 1884 right there in Van Buren--some interesting reading, I can tell you!
