|Bio and Links|
Let me begin by saying that cemetery research and genealogy are much more than simply a hobby for me, they are my passion. I desire to capture the history of every day people, to make sure their lives are remembered.|
In all my hunting, one of the stories that I've uncovered and touched my heart isn't a relation to me. In fact, she has no descendents of her own. Hers is the the story of a young girl known as Minnie Adams, "The Wild Girl of Brush Valley Township." If you get the chance, stop over at her memorial, read her story, and remember her.
Little Angels and Angel Mothers Project
A personal project of mine is to create virtual cemeteries for Pennsylvania infants and children and for mothers who died in childbirth. Please feel free to contact me with additions to these virtual cemeteries.
Here are two biographies I have written in the Little Angel and Angel Mother's Project

Updates and Corrections
I deeply value the spirit of collaboration that Findagrave offers, and I am more than happy to work with others to make additions and corrections to the memorials I manage. I do appreciate when updates provide the source (that's not just a family tree someone found online). Unfortunately, I have been given incorrect information in the past and wish to avoid that.
Please send corrections/requests by clicking the "EDIT" tab at the top right corner of the memorial page. Then click "suggest a correction or provide additional information". For transfers, state your relationship and include your member number. I sometimes miss messages posted below, so you'll have much better luck emailing me through the "edit" function.
When Memorials Don't "Look" Like You Prefer
Also know that for memorials of those who died 100+ years ago, the "traffic" is high as those individuals may have a 1000 or more descendants. Please understand that everyone has their preferences of what to post on a memorial and how it should look. The memorial may not appear exactly the way you want it (ex: the photo of the stone isn't at the top, there is death or marriage certificate included ), but there may be someone else out there who likes it that way.
In my view, I may "manage" a memorial, but it isn't "mine." This is a public site, and the memorials are here for everyone. As long as what is posted on the memorial is respectful and relative to the person, I leave the memorial for the living to honor the dead.
When Resources Conflict
Always be aware that sometimes obits, death certs, and even carved headstones can have errors. In those instances of conflicting sources, I will make the best judgement I can and will note it in the bio. If you feel strongly about a change, please contact me and we can "chat" through the discrepancy together.
Be Kind... Always
I do take pride in the memorials I manage, and I do my very best to promptly make updates that are sent my way. I take that responsibility seriously and always appreciate it when others manage their memorials with the same diligence and respect. One thing I've noticed across the board here at Find-A-Grave, kindness when making requests most often is rewarded. I endeavor to be kind, respectful, and open to collaborating with others.
I also would eagerly transfer management of a memorial page of a person whom I am not related (primarily anyone buried in New England are non-relations) to a descendant as well as Greenwood Cemetery. I do expect that if a transfer is requested that you are an active Find-a-Grave member and will continue to maintain the memorial and graciously network with other descendants to ensure accuracy.
However, please respect that I retain management of the memorials of my ancestors. If we are both descendants, I certainly respect the Find-A-Grave policy on transfers. If you are looking for a way to "gather" your family and loved ones together, please check out the "Virtual Cemeteries" feature on your profile. This is an excellent tool for you to connect your family together.
Have a Question/Need a Source?
If you have a question about a person or a family I manage, just jot me a friendly note. They may not be a relation of mine, but I would be happy to see if I can help.
Warm regards and happy hunting!

Hi Jennifer, You asked about the accuracy of Lorraine Flanagan (Twin Valley Cemetery) being the daughter of Michael Kunkle and said that he is linked as her father on F.G. The link for father is to Raymond Sherman, not Michael Kunkle. Lynn

Of course I remember you. Your name pops in my head everytime I come across the Mauk's up here for some reason...lol. Anyhow, I'm glad you hit me up with that idea about Melvin. I agree with you 100% and changed what I have.
I actually found a marriage license for him. Turns out when his wife died in 1971 he remarried in 1973 which gave me his parents full names. I see you already sent his parents links, etc. to connect them together and add her maiden name (Dull). I connected Melvin to them.
With this new information I also branched off with this new second wife and her parents. Anytime you see an error with my research or if you even think there might be something wrong, please, please, don't hesitate to let me know. I'm prone to mistakes like anyone else and I'm sure in the last 30+ years I've made alot, so I don't get offended when someone points them out or has an alternate theory on something.
And, if there is ever a memorial that you're related to and I'm not, let me know. I'd rather them be in the management of someone that is closer in the family tree than me. I'm here building the memorials to help out-of-towner's find their family, not for numbers.
Hope all is well and I bet the little ones are getting big. My second oldest son (28) just got married this past month. Time sure flies. If I can help out this way, just let me know.

A friend from my school days had found the grave. He posted it on his wall on Facebook. He then found your memorial. Since he is not a contributor on Find-A-Grave I asked him if I could put it on your memorial? He said yes. I was deeply touched by what you said.
He also took a photo of another grave at the same cemetery. How can I find out the name of the person in the grave marked: "M 10"? I would like to put that photo on the proper memorial. Thanks for your help.

|Ace Humbertson||Brode Cemetery|
Hi. Could you tell me where the Brode Cemetery is in Frostburg, MD?
|Stan Arnold||Thank you!|
Thanks very much for the transfers of Joseph and Mary Bachellor, and for all your work in Find-a-grave. Warmest regards... Stan

Hi Jennifer!! I came across your name when I was just looking around and saw you had links for babies without any links to their families. Melanie LaDawn Barnett caught my eye so I did a Google search and found her mother. Here is a link to her obituary. Have a nice day. Andrea
The person I found that had your name on it was Marie Meehan & her son just passed away recently a couple of towns away and the obituary mentioned her. Here is a link to that.
Here is the link to Paul Meehan's mother's grave.
