David Harrison Blalock Find A Grave Memorial# 175561729
Good afternoon Vonnie L. Cantrell;

I have received your information as to which I am grateful. I have found David Harrison Blalock (father of Lattitia Blalock) on three different web-sites;
1.) http://person.ancestry.com/tree/66578433/person/170040189293/facts
2.) https://familysearch.org/tree/person/LH77-8GQ/details
3.) http://dredblalockfamilyhistory.blogspot.com/p/david-and-letittia-blalock.html
It has appeared to me through my searching that Harrison was used as a middle name in the Blalock family. Without a full research at this time I can not even determine the exact circumstance I found this information acceptable. I do apologize for this and find your queri of Harrison as a middle name substantial. Reference to David Blalock memorial 175561729. * David Harrison Blalock Find A Grave Memorial# 175561729

Wife and Children
Find a way to send me an email and I'll provide you with a documented list of wife and children. I have enough information on the family to write a book

Lusk Family Research
Hi, Vonnie. I couldn't help but notice how much you have contributed to the Find A Grave site! I've been able to add so much great information to my tree. Are you related to the Lusk clan?

I'm still working on building the tree and compiling documents, but have our branch nearly wrapped up. My grandfather on my mother's side was a Lusk, so that's my connection.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Vonnie,
I received an email today from Find A Grave..They have restored the memorial for Allen Sarrett. I do hope that they will also reconsider all your efforts on behalf of so many patriots who are no longer on Find A Grave..We need to honor our ancestors. I hope you are well my friend..

RE: Unknown burials
I am going to send a message to Find a Grave to see if there is a change in policy. When I asked last year, the lady told me that the company realized that the location of many graves could not be exactly located. She stated that inforcing a no "unknown" policy would prevent many people from finding any info about their relatives. Here's hoping that we can still list "unknowns". as I still have many to go. I recently came across one cemetery in central NY State, where the ancient burials were marked simply with a medium sized field stone, with two initials and the last two years of a date. There were six stones with the initials that I was looking for, but none of the dates were a exact date match. My relative died in that town. Is one of the stones his, and he died a year or tow earlier or later than the info that I had been given? Hopefully, we can still register "Unknowns"

Unknown burial sites
I saw on a site where you were mentioning that Find A Grave had removed bunches of memorials that listed an "unknown" burial site. I just checked mine, and they are all still there. Do you know if the deletions are being done by the Find A Grave administrators, or by some individual. Last year, I ran into an individual who was vehemently oppossed to the use of "unknown". When I contacted the administrators, they stated that it was okay to create burial "unknowns," and to even link an unknown to others. They also asked for the name of the person who was against the "Unknown" burials; so that they could straighten them out.

RE: Joseph Reed
Vonnie, I regret to hear that some of your memorials were deleted and you have no copies…much work gone “down the drain.” As I said, I did change the Reed/Reid memorial to reflect your research and let’s hope change is correct and that said memorial is not deleted! Best, Jane D.

a Reed/Reid family
Vonnie, I'm so pleased to locate you. Would you, please, check the Joseph Reed memorial you listed as son of James Reed: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=101532665
Remember: I changed the rank of said James at your request. Thank you!
