I have lived in the St. Francois County area of Missouri for 70+ years. That's big brother Tom on the left - HS days 1953.|
I started out just walking old cemeteries - the history is there.
Got involved with tombstone photos for my own Family History and discovered others already at work doing the same and many were for my ancestors which were also their ancestors. since I was close to some cemeteries they were entering data for, I started taking photos for them as well ..it's Catching.
I now try to check the request list before I go to a cemetery and if I find the tombstone
requested, I will certainly add it for you.
Tying our family members together with LINKS makes it so easy to move through the generations. Many who would otherwise lose interest, find it such smooth sailing they get caught up in the history they can see with just one more click.

Hello. It is Michael Miller. I wanted to clear up the Hiram Berry burial site.
Hiram did NOT die in Madison County or in Marble Hill. He died at the home of his son Wm Greene Berry in Crossroads, Bollinger Co. MO. He came home from church and fell in the doorway, and never regained consciousness. He most likely had a massive stroke.
When he died they could not because of the roads take him to town or to where Amelia was buried in Madison County. Evidently they could not take him to town where they were going to be buried, so there was a small cemetery on the farm where they had two infant children buried. The grave was marked by an iron rod, and then remarked. In 1988 the family erected a tombstone on the grave which I have a photo of.
I would like this to be corrected in Find A Grave.

R u seeing them. More to come. I think I ask if you had seen Lawrence Weber grave but I have seen another contributor entered one yesterday.

Yes, it has taken a long time to find documents to get this one together. Again thank you..

Hi and thank you so much for adding her memorial. I believe the date on the tombstone is the right date. My G Grandfather Thomas Allen filled out the death certificate and she was his mother-in-law. She has many step children and is a bit complicated. I don't like to ask someone who has created a memorial to transfer but I do have much info I could add to this one. She is my GG Grandmother and if you would transfer to me Debra Alderman 48486292 I would appreciate it.

Mel, you are so welcome! My grandson and I were looking for more to photograph but that particular cemetery has a long list. We've now alphabetized it and hope to do more soon. Deb Tucker
