RE: Celina Balon
you are welcome. I looked for her at Mount Carmel - and I'm glad to have finally found her.

Hi, when you get a chance could you remove one of the duplicate gravestone photos you added to Gerald's memorial?

Thanks in advance, Mark

Rocco A. Zito
Hi Joseph,
Thanks for taking the photo of Mr. Zito's gravestone. He joined Company A, 7th Infantry Regiment in November 1943 and fought at the Anzio Beachhead. He participated in the invasion of Southern France in August 1944 and was seriously wounded in action by machine gun fire on 14 September 1944. Thanks again, James

Rquests in St Agnes Cemetery Utica
St Agnes is a very large cemetery, and most of the sections are unmarked, making the search for individual graves very difficult.

If you visit the St Agnes webite, they have a form to fill out to get the section numbers. Ann, in the office, is extremely helpful - a call to her is also a good way to get her assistance.

My Great Uncle is buried there without a marker. He drowned in the Erie Canal at the age of 6 in 1896. The Supt of St Agnes was so nice as to go out and mark the burial site so I could visit it.

BTW when I take grave photos I also add the GPS coordinates of the grave. That way people can put these in to a mapping program on their SmartPhone and it will lead them right to the grave.

Best regards,

Carmine Aurigema & Carzo graves - Calvary Cemetery Utica
Dear Mr. Guzetta:

I would be glad to photo the graves of Carmine Aurigema and the Carzo family.

Would it be possible for you to call the office at Calvary to get the section and plot locations of the graves? The office number is (315) 735-2727; the Superintendent is "Tim". They usually do 3 locations for family members with out a charge.

The Aurigema stone you have one one site shows the mausoleum in the background. I'll look for that one today.

I live three blocks from the entrance of Calvary Cemetery and go there often.

My direct email is

Best regards,

They are great and so are you. Best wishes
