Lee .... I know we are "cuzzins" but don't know the degree, or how many times removed: Cora Fletcher Weathersbee Bishop was my grandmother.
I have found most of your family that you have entered on FindAGrave, and just have to say thanks! I knew all the children of Fletcher and Fanny except Walter, so your entries about his descendants have been such a gift!
When my mother Lenore Bishop White died, she left literally boxes of "stuff" pertaining to family. She and Cora were both dyed in the wool packrats, and I am so thankful. I have pictures, letters, notes that Lenore wrote when Cora would tell her things about the family, newspaper clippings, obituaries, even some strands of hair from a great great grandmother! I also have a series of letters that Dr R F wrote to Cora and Lenore when he lived with Walter in Del Rio .... they might be of interest to you.
I would be happy to share anything you might be interested in

Elrod Reatives in SC
Is there a connection with the Elrods in Brushy Creek, Anderson, Texas and the Elrods in Brushy Creek, Anderson, South Carolina? My grandparents were Ernest Aaron Freeman and Lola ELROD from SC.
