|I live in a small farm town in southeastern Wyoming. I am a nurse working mostly full-time, but would be willing to take a photo of a grave in this area. I am close to Cheyenne, but work in the opposite direction in Nebraska. I do get to Cheyenne once in awhile, so could ostensibly take a grave photo there. |
My father and the paternal side of my family are from the central Missouri area (Cole and Miller Counties), and my maternal ancestors hale from the York Co., PA and Mansfield, Ohio area. My husband's family are mostly from the Door and Kewaunee County areas of Wisconsin. However, I was born and raised in northern California. I enjoy genealogy and walking through peaceful cemeteries, especially if they are old, and reading what is written on the headstones (and then wondering about what their lives and families were like).
If you are related to any of the people mentioned, I would be happy to transfer that memorial to you (excepting my own family, of course!)- just tell me of your relationship when you contact me.
Please ask me first about posting any of my uploaded individual person photographs to a genealogy website- the photos of relatives are ones I have scanned from my own personal photos handed down to me and uploaded to certain memorials, so they are considered copyrighted by myself. Thank you!

I have searched for that stone so many times and could not find it. My husband spotted it this time.

Hello, Can you please tell me how you have this photo of Harry Olson, Tanum Cemetery, Door County, Wisconsin? My aunt was married to Harry's son, Norman. Their daughter, my cousin, has never seen a photo of her Grandpa Harry and she is delighted! Do you have any more photos of him and/or his family? We have pictures of Norman and we knew his brother, Lester. The brother, Gordon, died young. It would be fun for my cousin to be able to see them if you have more. Thank you!

Thank you so much for adding the information from the news article. There are some new clues in that, so it definitely should help with my research. Thanks again!

Hi, I've been trying to locate any records that prove the D. D. Doring listed in this Find A Grave record is indeed the son of Rebecca Shupe and John Doering. Do you have any info you can share with me?

You're welcome. I am not related. I was doing research in the area & when I come across this type of info, I try to put it where someone will be able to find it. Thanks for claiming her. Happy researching!
