Bio Photo Hello Everyone!
My philosophy is that the memorials for people unrelated to me are meant to be shared & given away to any close family member willing to maintain their family member's memorial page, make corrections, keep an ongoing commitment to this website & genealogy, etc. Though I may not always be available, please let me know if you'd like a transfer done (see below). I will get to it as soon as I can.
If you have suggestions or corrections, additional biographical information, relationships you'd like added to a memorial, I am happy to hear from you--I can add these changes for you if you don't wish to own the page. Please feel free to add appropriate photos and flowers anytime! Please, no post-mortem photos or photos (or names in obituaries, etc) of the living.

MAKING TRANSFERS: The best way to suggest corrections or ask for a transfer of management is to go to "edit" for that person's memorial page and send me an email under suggestions and comments. That way I can more easily get your message and your id number, etc--the switch will be done more quickly.

Have a Wonderful Time on Findagrave! It's truly the best help I've had in decades of research.

Best Wishes,

RE: Lyra & Heber Griffith Pics
The engraving on the stones is still very legible. The stones are covered with lichen, making them hard to read.

I'll go up again with a gentle washer and clean them off and retake the photos.

Heber Emlyn Griffith
Mr Heber E Griffith is buried in Plot 34; 5011 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica, NY. I submitted an edit for his Find A Grave memorial. Please accept the edit. I'll try to get over there and take a picture of his grave in the next week or so.

Best regards,

Could you read it ok? If not if I am there when the sun is shining on it I will take a better picture. I go buy this cemetery once a week when visiting a friend.

RE: Paul Fisher Ehinger
Hi There - I went to the cemetery today and the person in the office told me that the military headstone for Paul had not yet arrived. It will be placed next to his wife when it arrives.

RE: Mary Cooper Photo Hunt
I Will post a Photo showing my G-G-Grandmother, lot 87, space 14, the mossy marker next to the left side of the tree, the second marker left is that of Mary L. Day, and the marker next to the tree on the right is also not "Cooper". Therefore its my belief that the tree, over time, has become the marker for lot 87, space 14, Mary E. Cooper.

RE: Amanda Morris @ Topeka Cemetery
The only source I have used is the database provided by the cemetery and, when I could not find her, a call to the sexton of the cemetery who reviewed some early handwritten records. No luck at all.

Markers for James & Sarah Pruitt
Good afternoon! Just wanted to let you know that my mom & I walked the entire Timber Ridge Cemetery yesterday afternoon, but did not find a marker for Mr. James or Ms. Sarah Pruitt. There are several markers for folks with the surname of Pruitt, but no James or Sarah. Timber Ridge is nicely fenced and very well-kept - a gorgeous country cemetery on a flat area on top of a hill. I took pix of all Pruitt markers if you are interested. If I can be of further assistance, just message me. Kind regards, Southernatheart

RE: Amanda Morris @ Topeka Cemetery
The Maria Morris McVicar that is buried in Topeka cemetery was 40 or 41 years old when she died of diabetes. No specific dates were given.
