I'm a retired federal employee and an Army brat. I have been doing genealogy work on my family line since 2003. My parents grew up in Du Bois and Punxsutawney. Most of my ancestors rest in Jefferson, Clearfield, Armstrong, Huntington, and Northampton counties. Family names include. Grube, Smith, McKee, Sloss(?), Root(?), McEwen, Magnusson, Magnuson, Logan, Kimes, Hauck, Schrecongost (various other spellings), Elias, Lias,and Butler to mention a few. I am also researching the Stewart family, Ringgold area, for my cousin.|

My grandmother was Mary Catherine McKee Bloom. Here death certificate lists her mother as Elizabeth Seth. Mary C. lived with Jane Smith per 1860-70 census. I noted you listed Jane Smith's name as Jane McKee Smith. Was her maiden name McKee? Can you shed any light on Mary Catherine's parents?? The estate records of Isaac McKee, who is named as her father on her death certificate, do not list Mary Catherine as an heir of Isaac.
|Looking for Arthurs||Conrad Schrencegost|
I found a Schrencengost Farm Cemetery on Find a Grave. Could Conrad Schrencengost be buried there?
I am researching for my brother-in-law who was born in Punxatawny. His father was Beck and mother was Schrencengost.

Hi I am a Haag, Hawk, Hauck researcher and currently writing the Haag history. I have 30 yrs of work invested. Is the photo on this memorial actually known to be that of Daniel Hauck and Catherine Herring? Thank you. Jerry Haag
My Grandfather is Lon Pantall Grube. I have been researching our tree and would like to visit the old homestead of Peter. I have seen a couple of pictures and I here it is still standing. I know the general area but do not have a definitive address. My mother is still alive and would also love to see it. She is living in the State college area and we will seeing her in July/August.

|B Alexander||John Butler & Nancy Higgins Butler|
Thank you so much for photographing their headstones and posting the information on FIND A GRAVE. My husband is a descendant of their son, John Edward Butler (1815-1901). We were so thrilled to find the memorials you manage for John Butler & Nancy Higgins Butler. What a wonderful treasure for their many, many descendents to view. Thank you.
