I grew up in the Northern Neck of Virginia in Westmoreland County. My family has lived in the Neck from the very beginning, and has lived on the same land for over 250 years. After spending a career in the Navy, I now live in Suffolk, VA not far from Isle of Wight County where my Davis ancestors began life in the New World.

I trace myself back through the Murphy, Davis, Beale, Turberville and Lee families of Virginia and maintain several memorials here for them.

I also have very deep roots in New England, traced back through my Dadmun line. I descend the Dadmun, Hanson, Turner, Pike, Pratt, Young and White families, including Peregrine White.
