I've been doing Family Genealogy since December of 2003. Came to "Find A Grave" in August of 2010. I think this is a great Web Site. Wonderful way to remember those who have left us and find others we didn't know that existed. More than happy to take Photographs in my area.

Researching Surnames: Bird, Gassaway, Gottberg, Hubbard, Melcher, Richardson, Wilson, and Zessin.

& Pets:

Thank you so much to all who visit my family and friends and for your wonderful "Flowers". I appreciate it!
Any Memorials I have set up that is not a relation to me I will "Transfer". I would prefer that a family member or even a close friend to have management of a person's memorial.

Re: Guillermina Riutort
Find A Grave #114801308 her ex-husband Alphonse shows her name on his marker...she was divorced from him many years prior and his obit in the D.C. paper said so. It also stated his companions name of many years.
She is in fact buried just outside of D.C. in Suitland, Md = See Find A Grave # 145328929
Just passing this along.

Zessin memorials
Hello. I am reaching out to you since it appears that you have created several memorials for the Zessin family and I'm hoping you can help me out. I am documenting the Camp Creek Cemetery, Otoe Cnty, Nebraska where Ferdinand & Emma are interred. I see, according to his obituary, that 3 children died in infancy. At that cemetery, I have a marker with the following inscription:
One side says "Children of F & E Zessin, the other side says something like "Earvy, born Mar 6, 1897, died March 30, 1897, followed by "infant 1896". I would like to create a memorial page for them, but I can't quite make out the spelling of the baby born in 1897. If you'd like, I could send a couple of pictures. I would just like to link them to their parents. Thank you for you consideration. Carol

RE: Sylvanus Brimhall.....
Hi William,

Thanks so much for your message. Yes, I'm relation. And no, not offended at all. If you look at the Findagrave entry for Sylvanus, you'll see that the existing date of birth is clearly wrong, because as the record says (and as I have corroborated with military records) he applied in 1818, at age 79, for a military pension. (That would have been difficult to do as a 14-year old). Also, right on the entry itself it says that his birth year is about 1739.

Further, he is buried right next to his wife Sarah McDaniels Gilman Brimhall, who lived from 1745 to 1845. This makes more sense as a married couple than someone who was born in 1804. (a difference of 59 years....)

Thanks so much for your efforts. Love the site and it's immensely helpful!
