Thank you for taking such a close look. I made updates to his memorial based upon your suggestions. Do you have any connection?

I have already submitted using the "Suggest a Correction" tab. It will take a few days before the corrections appear on the memorial. Thanks.

RE: 1 Lt Edward C. Jones, Jr.
Hi Angie,

I know some details on his last mission and death over Hungary. I'm a Hungarian military historian and archivist, my research focuses on the history of the air war over Hungary in 1944-45.

But I assume, some details are too personal to leave for the public, that's why I would prefer the e-mail.

Thank you,

Csaba

What is the source of this picture? Are you a relative of him? Please drop me a message to

Thank you,

RE: Epworth UMC Cemetery
Hi Angie:

The information for the burial location of both of these individuals came from their death certificates. Hope this helps.

RE: Epworth UMC Cemetery
Since these memorials were made in 2010, I do not remember if there was a marker or not. However, the death certificate for both of these individuals show that they were buried in Epworth Cemetery. While the cemetery book on Craven County is a helpful research tool, I have found that it is not totally accurate.
