Hello, my name is Karl Stelly. I'm 62 years old, and I'm originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. I've lived in Baytown, Texas, Tulare, California, Great Falls, Montana, Killeen, Texas, Manassas, Virginia, and Louisville, Kentucky. I moved to Gettysburg with my wife about 10 years ago. I enjoy roaming the battlefield and photography, and studying the history of Gettysburg and the Civil War. I have quite a few photographs of Gettysburg and other Civil War battlefields and other historic sites posted on Google Earth. I use the name "Seven Stars" on Panoramio and Google Earth. If you see photos there by "Seven Stars," that's me!
Feel free to use any of the headstone or grave photographs I have taken for your genealogy work, projects, etc. There is no need to ask permission first. I have no problem with people using my photos on other websites. Just give me credit for taking the photos, is all I ask.
**** NEW !!!! ****
I have recently created Virtual Cemeteries for each individual State Plot in the Gettysburg National Cemetery. This enables people to have very handy listings of all the known burials within each State Plot at Gettysburg. I have also included a Virtual Cemetery for the United States Regulars buried in the National Cemetery (at least all the KNOWN ones). Enjoy!

I'm only going by what they have in his obituary.
I don't know what to say or do about it ?
Any ideas ?
Thanks for looking

Thank-you so very much for Taking Your Time & Effort in going out and getting this Headstone photo for both.

You are welcome. I learned because my dad is in inurned in Section A. I was there one day taking pictures when a couple asked for help. The directory at the visitor center wasn't very clear to them, either. When you look at the online map posted thru the VA grave locator web-site, it's hard to see the "A" & "B". Each block of crypts is numbered on the ends, row numbers go from top to bottom & the crypt numbers go left to right for each row. Section B was filling up quickly the last time I was there. I expect soon they will probably start using section C which is on the left side of the road going back to the other two blocks.
Thanks for helping to fulfill picture requests there. Too many burials/inurnments for one person to tackle.

Saw your comment about photo requests. Section B is the one of the columbariums back by the Veterans Memorial. As you pull into the parking lot, it is the blocks on the right side.
