I am a retired police chief having served 35 years in law enforcement in Georgia. I have been working on my genealogy for over 25 years. Among my family names are Williams, Beam, Rice, White, Key, Baughn, McKee, Fullilove, Lovvorn, Gable, Jordan and about 60 others. I have found the F-a-G community to be a great bunch of people, and am willing to help others in any way I can.|

These are cousins of mine- may I use your photo in my family tree? I will, of course, give you full credit.

Hello, regarding the stone at the bottom of your picture of Edward Lonnie Evans and Lula Beam Evans-York, can you tell me where it is located in reference to the double stone. I suspect Lula Mae was not buried with Edward Lonnie but elsewhere. Would that be a correct assumption? My research is with the Evans family. Thank you very much for photographing these stones.

Thank you so much for the great photos you have posted from Smyrma Missionary Cemetery.
Not my direct line but related.

I found this on the usgwarchives page,
Kempjack, Sebern [Seaborn] Death 1/1/1866
[Sebern was a half-breed Indian and did day labor for the people of the community]
Kempjack, Henrietta (Williams)
[grave is unmarked]
Henrietta does not have a memorial at Rice Cemetery and thought you would like to add one for her. Good luck with your research.

Thank you. I very much appreciate your efforts. Do you recall if the space between Eliza and George Jr appeared to be a grave? It it did, it could be George Sr in unmarked grave. If you think this is the case, the next time you visit the cemetery, would you kindly take a photo of the family plot showing the space between Eliza and George Jr and post to his memorial. I can make a note of unmarked grave. I could not find a cemetery survey, so guess it would be "possible unmarked grave". Again, thank you for everything.

Thank you Edwin for taking time out of your own day to get those nice headstone photos of the Warrens and get them up online. Tell me, were then just the 3 small stones at the foot of that big one that says Warren or were there others around that big stone that says Warren? I'd like to make some notation about how they were arranged but need to ask first. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your photos. Guess I really did not expect to ever see these since the time period is late 1880's. Very nice surprise! Wondering, did you notice that the photos came in to Find A Grave sideways? I'm wonder if this is a Find A Grave problem. I had another successful photo request posted yesterday and it was also sideways. Again - thank you for the photos. I appreciate your hard work and your time.

Edwin, thanks for taking this headstone photo but you put it up sideways--can you remove that one and make it the right way? It is much appreciated.
