Got back into my Winters family history after letting it sit for about 15 years. Findagrave.com has been a big help so far. So I thought I'd do a little photographic "bounty hunting" as thanks. I seem to like the tough ones. What the heck, I need to get out of the house anyway.....|
Currently, I'm looking to complete the St Peter's Catholic cemetery listing in Elizabethtown, PA, and also plugging away at Mt. Tunnel, so that's where most of my activity is.
If you would like to use the photos I've taken elsewhere, you have my permission.
I am not looking to hoard these memorials I've created, I would be delighted to release them to relatives or descendants, assuming I myself don't happen to be related.

Thanks so much for the Nissley photos. I had been working on their huge family tree on Ancestry and I wasn't finding some Nissley/Nisleys' interments. Then, just this February a contributor entered Martin & Elizabeth and your photos proved which ones they were (because there are SO many Martin Nissleys, including this one's father and his son!) So, I guess I'm always looking for more of them on Find A Grave. Let me know if you ever find any that aren't entered on Find-A-Grave. By the way, I just watched a great documentary Memorial Day Weekend about Richard "Dick" Winters...any relation? I am related to all these Nissleys, even if it's 3rd cousin, 4X removed....
Thank you so much for the photo of this lady. I appreciate all you do for findagrave also. I know how thankless a job it can be sometimes but the self-satisfaction of doing it is the best paying job ever.
|Joe Nihen||RE: Joseph Fegan|
Thank you for the photo and the story regarding Fegan's new grave marker.
I just found your message today. The usual e-mail announcing a pic has been added never reached me from find-a-grave.
I appreciate your kindness and your help in preserving the memory of the 208th Pennsylvania.

Lee, Thank you for the photo of Mary Shenck's headstone! This was my gr-grandfather's sister, so I'm glad to have this piece of my family puzzle.

Thank you so very much for the photograph of Andrew & Anna Zercher's headstone. I really appreciate it, as well as all of the previous help that you have given me.
I hope that on one of my trips to PA, we can meet.
Hope that things are going well for you and your work with the Haldeman Mansion, as well.
