Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started my interest in my Families Geneology when I was Ten and with the encouragement of my Mom interviewed all my parents siblings and Great Uncles and Aunts and my Granfather to get a perspective on their child hoods and family life..I treasure that information even more today. From interviews I began to put names to pictures and family histories began..my Dad's oldest sister sat long hours in the library and showed me how to proove by documentation..and not by just hear say..it has always been like detective work to me and I love to put together not only mine but find another researchers family and see their face light up when they discover who their family was and is. I probably have shared more information then ever received..but not everyone had the priviledge to walk down the same streets as my grandparents did..One of my favorite things to do is to meet someone new in my family story and calculate how we are related..and I have met a lot of 3, 5 and 6 cousins once, twice removed..Smile! Rae

James and Sarah Keele are my family as they were my 2nd great grandparents. There is so much to add to his family listed in the Doolittle cemetery to them and all the children listed, I would like to add more info about them as well as the I'm going to add those buried close by whose graves are only marked by a broken headstone or fieldstone. Rather then to continue to send you edits would it not be easier just to transfer the Keele family members buried here to me. I live and in Texas but made a trip there in May to take photos of the graves marked with a stone as I know who is buried in them and I'm going to add them to the cemetery. So do you mind transferring all of the Keele family members in the Doolittle cemetery to me ? I would appreciate it. Thanks you Barbra Keele Lloyd

RE: Connection
Hello Rae,

Yes my great great grandmother is buried in Redstone Cemetery I believe. Her name is Susannah Hiles Hawk Marshall 1844-1920 she 1st married Elijah Hawk they had kids but Elijah was killed in the Civil War. Then she married Samuel Marshall b.1858 Philly. He is my brick wall. I see him and family on the 1900 census living in North Unio Twp. Fayette County. It says his mom was born in NJ his dad PA Susan is listed there with Daisy, Maize, Charles and my great grandfather George W. Marshall as occupation it lists Samuel as being a stationary engineer. That is really all I know. I do however have death cert for Daisy and Charles. They both ended up living in Wilkinsburg PA. I have many branches up around Ohiopyle. Many Bryners. Bryner was my Paternal great grandmother's maiden name. Let me know if any of this sounds familiar to you.

Viola Whetzel
Rae, I want to apologize for not offering my condolences the last time we spoke, I don't know what I was thinking. So I would like to extend my sympathy to you and your family on your loss. I did stop by Lafayette and retook Violas' marker. The death date is still not on her marker but I will keep checking and I will retake and replace the current one when they place it.
