St Peters Cem
Mary,
I was hoping you can help me. My family has been searching for our Grandmother since 1938, my grandfather was 7 when his mother died, he was sent to Poland to be raised by his grandmother, in 1938, he had the choice to join the Polish army or return to the US. His father which he hadn't seen since he was 7 moved to Chicago from Garfield. When he arrived from Poland to Chicago his father Frank died the following week, He always wanted to know where his mother was buried in Garfield. He died in 1974 never knowing. He told my mom ( his daughter) his mothers tombstone had an angel on it. Since 1974 we have not been able to find a death certificate. I wrote NJ vital statistics and after four months they found one. the miss spelled her name Sophia Gida which it is Zofia Gajda. She died Feb 7th 1921. she lived at 82 Pacific Ave. Burial says St. Peters Cem. My question to you since you have posted some graves from there, is there an index of the grave yard that you know of and can you direct me to some help? My mom only has one sister and she lost my father to Alzheimers less then a year I am trying to get here back into genealogy, Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Kowalick entry
Hi. I was adding some information to my grandmother's entry and see you have added her too. Might I be able to have your entry transfered to me? Thanks for thinking of her.
