Sure - transfer which ever ones you please - that way I dont have to keep bugging you as many of them are connected to my family :) I hope to visit these sites someday.

I see that you transferred all of your memorials back into this cemetery - yey! Thank you so much ... researchers like me really appreciate your caring stewardship :)
All the best, Colleen

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm intrigued.
I am descended from George Platt through his son, Amos. He was my third great grandfather.
My biggest quest with George has been to see if he is the same George Platt who was on the Brig Niagra at the Battle of Lake Erie. See http://www.ohioancestors.us/2015/09/ancestry-saturday-202-years-and-still.html
Have you ever heard anything with regard to the War of 1812 service?
I do have his pension and land bounty records, but neither speaks to Battle of Lake Erie service.
Regarding a VA headstone. Do you know how it works or have you done it? I have a church record indicating they believe he is buried there at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery. However, I don't know if anyone knows where in the cemetery he was actually buried.
Thus, what kind of proof is needed?
Plus, I assume the VA won't pay for a plot, only a headstone. Is that right?

Thank you for transferring the Steele's to me I will take good care of them.

Yes that would be fine, he was our Fire Chief at Romulus. My number is: 46828130

Jane, Thank you for being so understanding. I didn't want to insult you in anyway. I was just worried. I hope you will be willing to take photos for me in the future. Lisa

Jane - Thanks for taking the photo of Nelly Sebring. I can't imagine how hard it was to find it. I REALLY appreciate you taking this photo.
My only concern is the white shaving cream or toothpaste that is on the stone. I know F-A-G really discourages this practice to protect the older and fragile stones.
The person working on Six Nations Cemetery in NY uses a mirror on a sunny day to take pictures. The old carvings jump off the stones. However, it does take two people to get a good photo.
