I'm a retired federal employee who fell into doing some online family research for a friend of mine - a McKenzie - and now I'm in so deep I can't get out! Most of you probably know the feeling. But it's a harmless obsession which I enjoy so I'll stick with it until I pull out the rest of my disappearing hair. I try to post most of my findings on Find A Grave so if you're interested in the McKenzie family who settled in central Missouri after emigrating from North Carolina via Kentucky, just enter the last name - mckenzie - in the box to the right and take a look! As for my own family, some surnames would be Fallas, Fallass, Bray, Oechsli, Mills - all of those in the northeastern quadrant of the lower 48 - and, on the Swedish side, Nilsson and Waldemarsson in the province of Skåne län.|

Very happy to help. I have another photo of a bench with an inscription to them both from the Micanopy Historic Preservation Trust that I haven't posted because the bench needs a bit of cleaning--I have D2 and would be happy to do that and take another photo of it if you would like. Otherwise let me know and I will jut post the photo I have. Dori

Are you confident that the photo posted is of the father of Simon, Mike and Mose Jankowsky (Saul Jankowsky) who had the Palace Clothing store in Tulsa, OK?
Thanks in advance. I am researching for someone else.

I think I have it all fixed now. Thanks for calling it to my attention. There was a time when Find A Grave sometimes duplicated itself when entering memorials.
Best wishes, Suzanne
Amazing report on Dr. Mills. He and Mary G. Mills were our next door neighbors in Tampa. I knew he had a family in St. Pete, but I never knew about the Mexican divorce. I was only 5 years old when Dr. Mills passed away, but I remember him well. He kept a garage full of what I believe were body parts from medical testing. He also kept rabbits and sheep on his property for medical tests. An interesting man. Mrs. Mills never sold the home nor did she remarry.
