I am unable to travel to different cities to search for gravesites of our relatives. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I found the Find a Grave website and all the wonderful, helpful people on it. I have found so many of our relatives listed and have had wonderful people that have been willing to search and take photos for us. |
If you would like to use one of my photos on your family tree, help yourself but please list me as the photographer.
DO NOT use my hard work on another cemetery website or put your name as the contributor on one of my photos. That's just not fair or considerate.
If you have data that you would like for me to add to the memorials that I have created, please send it to me and I will update it as soon as possible.
I am posting memorials using the Find a Grave guidelines as I see them. If it is not to your liking, I'm sorry. I WILL NOT respond back to hateful and ranting messages. So don't bother to send them.
I will be glad to transfer any memorial that I have listed to a family member if they are not in my family's trees. Please be sure to add your member #, the person's ID number and your reason for wanting the transfer when making the request.
Please use the edit button at the top of memorial pages to make data corrections or additions. I'm sorry but emails without a memorial # will be deleted. I don't have the time to search out the internet to find who you are talking about.

First of all, thanks for all you have contributed to Find A Grave. Each time I am able to find more information on the people I am researching, it brings joy to my heart.
I would like your permission to include your photo of the Francis Marion Sellers family in a personal genealogy I am helping a friend compile. Francis is the grandfather of my friend's 2nd cousin 1x removed. Further, I am wondering if you could post the photo at a higher resolution, so that it would be easier to make out the facial features. If you don't have time for that, I understand, but thought I'd ask, just in case. I'm also wondering if you are related to F. M. Sellers.
Again, thanks for sharing on Find A Grave!

Thank you so much for your quick update. I also appreciate your giving me credit for her parents' links in the bio. It's always a pleasure to work with courteous people. Thank you!

Hi Lois. I would like you're opinion on something. There is a small stone next to William R Hanes stone, It has the letters W R H on it. It is like a lot of footstones I have seen but it is just to the right of his stone. Any thoughts? von

Well, the mystery deepens. I was at Liberty Cemetery yesterday, I looked at George M stone again. I guess the sunlight was just right, there is some very faint markings on the right side of it, the side that faces an empty space. There is script at the top and an emblem of some sort at the bottom. If I can figure out a way to bring out at least some of the letters it might identify who it is. Do you want me to post on F A G what I have or wait until I can try to bring out more info from the script. von
|Mike Williams||Charlie & Margaret Weir|
Charlie Weir, 99691467; Margaret Weir, 99691049; Not sure if these are transferable to anyone; however, these two folks are the grandparents to my Grandmother, Minnie Ola Barnes Platt, 9046890. My mother was one of thirteen children born to Minnie Ola Barnes Platt. If they are transferable, I would like to maintain, if not, I certainly understand.
