Lionel Swayze #169236842
Are you sure this is the correct Lionel Swayze who was the father of Wilmer Robert Swayze? According to Wilmerís sisterís obituary in 1924, her father had already died. The Lionel you sent me the link for was Lionel Robert. According to Wilmerís birth record, his father was Lionel Richard. Lionel Robertís Find A Grave page lists that he was survived by a wife and 3 daughters. Unless you have some sort of proof, Iím not convinced this is the same man.

suggestions and corrections
Thank you Sebastian for your suggestions and corrections on some of the memorials I manage. I especially appreciated the text from the Estate of Phelonise Trahan Leger. Her youngest child Hypolite Leger was my great great grandfather. It still excites me when I find out something new about my ancestors.

Margaret Evens
Hi I have a photograph of Margaret Evans headstone before creating a memorial I looked her up and found that you have memorial for a Margaret Evans only you don't have a cemetery listed and the birthdates are different. Your Margaret is born Feb 5 1895 and the one I have is Feb 7 1895. You have her dying in placer county which is very close to Sacramento which is where this Margaret is buried. She is buried next to a Frederick L. Evans born 1915 to 1992. Is this her son named after her father? I didn't want to upload without asking you first in case you don't think they are the same. The name of the cemetery is Sacramento Memorial Lawn Cemetery please let me know what you would like to do. Nancy Zanfardino

RE: Collen Needham Willingham
Thank you, Sebastian, I appreciate your time. I too will never be offended by questions. This is an important record to keep and keep truthfully. I am glad you feel the same way about documentation. Leslie

Willinghams
I am the great grandaughter of Almuth Olan "Ollie" Willingham. My great grandmother was Mary Eleanor "Lena" Willingham. Their daughter was Vivian Gladys Willingham Schourup Williams Rheuben. Her daughter Norma Leigh Schourup Resch Mansfield was my mother. I am trying to go farther on the Willingham side of the family and I am confused about Needham. Is Needham the same person as Collen Needham and how do you know. Cliff always told me that he was researching this and Eleanor's (we always called her Willingham)family but he never shared specific info with me.Do you have more info? I don't want to go astray.

Purvis Trahan
I will go out on a limb on this. Oak Bluff Cemetery was a private cemetery in Port Neches owned by the Block family in the early years. I don't know that it was ever known as "City Cemetery" Greenlawn Cemetery, which was also private, was often referred to as "City Cemetery" for Port Arthur. The death certificate says the undertaker was from Port Arthur. Since the Oak Bluff office has no record for Purvis, I am betting he is buried in Greenlawn, which is now identified with Groves due to office location along the street.
