Hi there,
I have been a findagrave volunteer for quite some time though haven't been out there photographing for a couple years. As far as the Pauper Cemetery is concerned, all of the visible headstones that are there have already been photographed and posted on the site. The man that made the memorial (Bill H.) works nearby the cemetery at Piper Funeral Home and he has taken on the task of trying to locate all the people buried there in the Pauper Cemetery. The cemetery was closed to any more burials in the 1920s. With the flu epidemic after WWI, there were mass burials happening there and burials were happening with no rhyme or reason as to location.

Catherine Meyer and Leonida
I found an obit for Catherine and it says that Leonida died Jan 11, 1912. To get to the web site go to:
nobleco.lib.in.us
click on Genealogy
click on C.J. Whan
click on Whan Collection
then go into the obituaries for Meyer, Catherine

Happy hunting!!

RE: William Henry Meyer Memorial# 161670623
I tried to copy his death certificate off of Ancestry but I could only get the middle part. Apparently he was living in Kendallville at Holcomb Boarding House on N. State Street at the time of his death. It also said he was widowed and his wife name was Katharine. He was a well digger and suffered a fractured hip on Mar 3, 1938 which developed into hypostatic pneumonia on Apr 19, 1938. Hope his helps a little.
