For thirty plus years I have been involved in genealogy. When my mother died, she left some notes about a few ancestors she had uncovered and hoped I would continue her research. That was the hook-in-the-jaw that changed my life. I only regret that I have missed out on so many years that I could have used. Alas, all those family stories that went in one ear and out the other, and all those family members who took so much information to the grave with them. |
I am, however, thankful for the tools that are now available and for FindAGrave, a platform that I have spent many hours gaining from and contributing to.
If I have created a memorial for a member of your family, who isn't related to me, and you can add a biographical sketch I will be glad to transfer it to you. Many have received a transfer/transfers & have never added anything. This isn't fair to kin who may come along later who can do so. I will not transfer in mass numbers.

Thank you and I will do the same for you. Oh how I wish we had asked my father-in-law more questions. I tried to get him to tell his family stories, but he was a very private person and had some embarrassing events in his younger days. I couldn't get it across to him that we loved him and that those didn't concern us. He raised 3 wonderful Christian sons in a loving home.
|Kylee ||Hi there|
I was just curious if you have any relation to Vivian L Stilley (Brown) of Wyandotte, OK?

You left flowers for Arthur Burford . I was wondering if you are related to him? He was a sibling to my great grandfather Milton Burford . I am searching for family history .

I noted that you show Robert Armstrong (b. 1775, d. 1825) as being buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery. He isn't actually buried there. He is buried in a small family cemetery on the Reber farm near Upper Sandusky. I have been there previously and have photos of his gravestone. E-mail me if you would like at firstname.lastname@example.org.

I added him to Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. He is buried there next to his wife, Ona Belle Wear.

Dear Ms Brown, I guess I must of been half asleep when I read your posting for George. I returned and reread that his grave is unknown. Sad. Thanks again.
