Bio
I was born in Bogalusa, Washington Parish, Louisiana. I graduated from LSU, Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1969 with a BS in Secondary Education, majoring in English and minoring in Spanish. In October, 2005, I retired from the Bossier City Police Department with over 33 years of service, with my final assignments being Supervisor of the Clerical Staff and Grant Officer. During my years there, I compiled a 49 year history of the Police Department and the Chiefs who have overseen it. I am a widow with 2 daughters, 1 step-daughter, 2 grandchildren, and 2 step-grandchildren. I enjoy researching my family history and recording my findings for future generations.
