RE: Harriet Waite Felton
Hi Deb - the info was from Oakwood Cemetery's register book - I just changed her father's name from Henry to Gardiner.

Marcus Johnson
I was told that when he passed away they didnt have too much money. I have talked to you before. But I wanted to confirm that he is indeed buried there in Smithville cemetery somewhere close to Paul and Emma (Belcher) Johnson. This is from my grandmother who is still living and still very coherent. Also, do you still have a copy of his death certificate? I would love to have a copy, I have his obituary if you would like to add it. Marcus is my great great grandfather.

Marcus I. Johnson
Native of Pickney died yesterday.

Marcus I. Johnson, 63, retired farmer, died Wednesday morning at his home, 427 Bridge street, Watertown, after a three years illness. He was a native of Pickney, Lewis county, son of Cheselton and Katherine M. Maybee Johnson. He conducted farms in Worth and Rodman for years and removed to Watertown 17 years ago. He was employed as a papermaker until ill health forced his retirement three years ago.

He leaves his widow, three sons, Byron and Chester A. Johnson, Watertown, and Paul A. Johnson, Adams, and a daughter, Mrs. Hasel Inman, Cape Vincent. His mother, Mrs. C. A. Atkins, 9B of Rodman, and a half brother Ashley Snyder, also survive. The funeral will be at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the home. Rev. E. O. Spaven officiating. The body will be placed in the vault for interment in the spring at Smithville.
