How quickly a year has gone by! So many of you have helped me along the way this past year and I have to send out Huge Thanks to all of you! There is still a lot to learn. It's been fun, very addictive, and quite an eye-opener on so many levels!!

RE: Just a Hi...
Hello Mary Lou,
It has been a while. Hope things are good with you. We are doing fine. I always enjoyed working on the Memorials with you. I keep seeing your cousin Herman "Jinx" Powers occasionally. Summer is hot and boring cause we can't explore the lost graveyards in the woods safely. Take care and stay in touch.

RE: Katherine Ann Keller Augustine # 125543369
You are more than welcome.
I certainly wish I had more then just the cemetery record to help determine the true spelling of her first name. It's possible that it did begin with a C rather than a K. Whoever arranged her burial may not have known or the sexton may have spelled it incorrectly.
Have you been able to find any census records for her? Not that the spellings on ensus records are anywhere near correct all the time but at least you would get other varieties. If you change the spelling too a C, you would probably want to explain your reasoning in the text if you are extremely comfortable with that being the correct spelling. But since the cemetery record uses of K for her first name that record needs to remain a K, perhaps with the [sic] notation?
I'll let you know if I find anything more.

RE: Spicer's Oswego County
I'm not positive of where Mr. Owen's burial ground was, but I do know exactly where Cowan's Pond is, it's now called Coan Pond, my Aunt has a camp on the pond. There has long been a legend in the area of a woman's spirit haunting the pond, maybe there is some truth to it considering what I've just read in the old newspapers.

I'm gonna go and do a bit more digging and see what I can find out for you, now I'm inspired

RE: Loretta Tyler
Hi,

I feel horrible about this but, while working on the site earlier today, I introduced a bug that accidentally attributed all new photo requests to me! I have since gone back and corrected the issue and adjusted the credit for the photo request, but I am not able to re-generate the email that you received. To thank the correct photographer, please click on their name under the photo and leave them a message or send them an email. Thanks and sorry for the mistake!

Robert and Lydia Hanna
They are husband and wife. I have linked them together. I have linked them to their son Robert Alexander Hanna. I added a photo of his death certificate to his memorial which shows they are his parents. Thank you so much for the information, I have added that to their memorials. Please disregard the first message which has no message.
