|Scott Sayre||Evans in Cumberland NJ circa 1760|
I am looking for any data on parents and siblings of Amy/Marie Evans, married William Sayre c. 1795, in Salem NJ.
Descendants of Thomas Evans (1693 - 1783) appear to be good possibility. Do you have any info? Having a very tough time finding her parents.

Hi there - Thanks for you suggested edit to this memorial. The obituary states that his mother and father are Victor and Bridget, but the memorial you're asking me to link as his father is linked to a spouse named Agnes. Are you certain these are the correct parents? If so, may I ask your source? Thanks very much!

I have just started doing a bit of family research and one of the first things I found was your pages about my paternal grandparents, Mary and Andrew Slover! My father, Fred, is still living. I only met Mary once or twice and never met Andrew.
Anyway, thank you for the information and if I can help you in any way I would be happy too!

Thank you for writing concerning her... I appreciate it. I accidentally put her birth date in the wrong place. I made a decision when first documenting Quaker cemeteries to stay true to the original Old Style dating. I made a notation about the converted date on her memorial.... only that part will be declined :)
Thanks Again and Blessings to You & Yours,

Thank you so much for writing. I am not sure exactly how we are related. Are you?
I, also, noticed that the information was incorrect on Nancy's spouse and children, but don't know how to get it changed. It is obvious from the dates that it is wrong.

First, I want to thank you for the picture (and possibly the replacement?) of Joseph Evans tombstone. It is a very nice replacement. Joseph is my gr-gr-gr-grandfather through his son Job & Nancy Finch. I just left a picture and explanation of the Job Evans - Nancy Finch "reckird of their children" on Nancy's gravesite [#71045489]. Since your name is Evans, I think you may be collecting genealogy on the Evans family and doubt this information is to be found anywhere else. Netti
