Grundy County CONNERS
My great great grandmother was Margaret V. Conner born about 1824 and married in Grundy County, Mo in Sept. 842 to William B(R) Morgan. Have not been able to connect her to any parents in that area. Would you by any chance have any information on this Conner family? I know she had a brother named Stephen V. Conner.
My grandfather had written on a small piece of paper that his grandfather's name was George O'Conner. Some people have her father listed as Peter Conner.
A cousin of my grandfather wrote in a letter that her father's name was Stephen and that he and my great great grandmother (Margaret) were half brother and sister. She also wrote that Stephen's father was named George O'Conner.
If you have any hints on this family, I would love to hear from you.
Thank you,
Evelyn Williams

Hello, Vlang
I am a new member to FindAGrave. I am currently trying to find information on two deceased infants that are buried in Butte City, CA. I have tried to research them myself but have not came up with anything. If you can help, please email me back.

James Conner (1771-1851)
Dear Mr. "Vlang" I am searching for information about John Conner who is one of the first white settlers in Putnam County, WV< and is buried in the Old Hurricane Cemetery behind the First Baptist Church.

Your info states that he was born in Pickaway County, OH, and delivered to the Shawnee as part of the price for Margaret Boyer, his mother.

I am preparing a centennial history for Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church in Hurricane. Forrest Burdette, for whom the church was dedicated, is a great-great grandson of James Conner.

I would very much appreciate any assistance you might offer in learning the story of James and the Shawnee, and how he came to live in what is now Putnam County, WV. His will is on file here.

Hi Verna,
Your mother and my mother were cousins. My mother was Neva's daughter. They were very close to the same age. My mother spoke to me often and with great affection of your mother. We are second cousins. I would so like to connect with you if you would like to.
