Bio and Links
Bio Photo My Name is Ronald A. Sykes, Sr, and have been working on my family History for over 40 years.

Any additional information, adding bio's, changing .or adding names, dates and location can be done, without asking me, by hitting the edit button.

With the new system of FaG, I OK the links, and changes, without question. However, this also means, I may or may not have linked or corrected memorials.

I am more than happy to any correct a problem, or link family members. As far as Transfer goes, please look at the rules set down by Find a Grave, before asking. I will take a look on a case to case basis, but normally follow those rules. Demands from, or rude people are always ignored. If you would like credit for something added, either put it in the bio section, or let me know and I will add it for you.

I normally make all requests within 24 hours. If not, don't worry, I will get to it. Sometimes, I take a day off, too.

AGAIN. I follow the rules of Find A Grave dealing with Transfers. I will make an exception on a case to case bases. However, those who are rude, or feel they have some kind of right, need not request.

You My permission to use any of my Headstone photo, for your personal use.

Hello!

You created a memorial in 2001. I requested a photo and was told that the cemetery has no record of the person. I'm wondering if you can possibly give me any information on this. The memorial # is 5728657. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Ann :-)

Robert Dale Bauer
John Mill info, Spangle, Wa Cemetary, Lot 44
My name is Robert Dale Bauer. John Robert Mill is my Great Great Grandfather. There are many things that are incorrect in his write-up of him on find a grave. The grave marker called out as his is really my Great Grandma Ella Ruby Bauer (Mill) grave marker. How can I submit some type of write-up? I have pictures of all the Mill family members to add to their site.
Please Reply. Clark Wilson is my second cousin. He did a wonderful job for my Great Great Great Grandfather - Robert Mill.
Sincerely,
Robert Dale Bauer

Asa Lord Lard
Hi, and thank you.
I found you through a query you left for another member in 2009 regarding David Goshen Lard. I'm pretty sure that person has their information mixed up. I am Asa Lord Lard's direct descendant through his son, Monroe Levi Laird, who had a daughter, Gelona Mae Laird.
I have also traced David Goshen, from his father, Josiah Lard, until 1860. He didn't SERVE in the Civil War, but did get paid $56 for driving a team of oxen with sugar from Summit, Mississippi, to Mount Carmel, Mississippi, in Sept., 1863.
He died, I believe in November, 1869.
Susannah is a widow in 1870. I have no idea where he is buried!

RE: Photo Mix-up Memorial 49071273
Hello, fellow Find A Grave contributor. First, I want to thank you for your considerable contributions to Find A Grave! Today I discovered a mix-up concerning one of my cousins' memorial #49071273. The photo you added to this memorial is actually a photo of his son Beaumont Byron Lower's grave marker. Somehow n memorial had yet been created for the son Beaumont byron Lower, so I created one #175725796. Could you please switch your photo from #49071273 to #175725796? I thank you for your assistance. Bob Glidden

obits for find a grave?
I have some obituaries for burials in Beaver Creek Cemetery. Would you like me to email them to you or how should I handle this. Maybe 25 or 30 obits.

RE: Calvin Brown Gravestone
Thanks, Ronald. I know it's not very good weather this time of year in the PNW. I have used some photo enhancing software to try and get better contrast on the photo. I have been able to determine that there are 3 names on the gravestone. Eva, who was Calvin Brown's second wife, Calvin, of course, and down below, Betty, his first wife. It looks like the info that is with the names are the birth and death years only. There appear to be enough records to corroborate the correct years, with the exception of Betty, where no year of death has been found in records. I will have to assume the year on the gravestone matches what the creator of her memorial listed, which was 1900. I have submitted a photo request for this gravestone, so perhaps someone will provide a picture when the weather gets better later this year.

Regards,
Craig

Calvin Brown Gravestone
Hi Ronald,
Ref the following Find A Grave memorial...

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=10631495

The information inscribed on the gravestone is unreadable due to the brightness and lack of contrast when the picture was taken. Are you in a position to retake this photo so we can read what is on it?

Regards,
Craig
