I am slowly working on photographing Ascension Cemetery because it is closest to my home. I am not related to most of those buried there. I consider it my contribution to the find-a-grave website as a return favor for those who have photographed entire cemeteries far away, greatly helping my own personal family research.|
I've been side-tracked lately with photographing Loma Vista in Fullerton. Done with photographing the Northeast, Cypress, East, Rose, Evergreen and Grandview Lawns in the older part of the cemetery. Currently working on the Shady Lawn. Mostly what I consider "mass production" by sweeping the stones, taking a picture and posting memorials just to get the names out there.

Thanks.. Could photograph any more of the Frankfort family as you find them? I am especially interested in Rose Zobler Frankfort.
|heleninnj||Milton Samuel Frankfort|
I am Helen Zobler, a relative of Milton Frankfort. HIs mother, Rose Zobler Frankfort was my grandfather's sister. Are you related to the family?
My thanks for any information you might have.
|Sj Curci||Thank you|
I would like to thank you so much for your dedication to this site, and especially, to Loma Vista Cemetery. I was so pleased to see the headstones of both my dad and sister you posted on 02/09/2017, Raymond Lewis Curci and Teri Lynne Curci. It means so very much to me.

|SusanVHF||St Peter's Lutheran Cemetery Chewsville MD Requests|
Hi. I was at St Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Chewsville Maryland today and was able to fulfill six of your requests. I searched the whole cemetery for your other requests there and didn't find them but I didn't mark them as a problem because I want to go back another day to try again. Many of the stones in that cemetery have engravings that are worn to the point of being unreadable and quite a few stones are literally nubs of stone so it may not be possible to get photos.

|SusanVHF||Photo Request - David Bachtell|
Hello, I was at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Smithsburg Maryland today and looked for the gravestone for David Bachtell as you had on your photo request page. Although I did find a stone for a David Bachtell, the dates did not match your request. The stone I saw said "our father" at the top and his name. The bottom was not very clear (the stones are very worn) but the death date was 1873. There were smaller stones on either side of this David Bachtell that might have been the David you were looking for but the engraving had completely worn off so there was no way to tell if one was his and if so, which one. I did take a photo of the David died in 1873. If you'd like that I can send that to you.
