Thanks for the info. My guess is that someone submitted a photo request after essentially forcing their Harry to fit where he didn't belong. I wonder if you would change his name in the caption on your photo, so that someone doesn't try the same thing again. Of course they would not be likely to now, but you never know. Thanks again!
Do you have the cemetery records for him still? The cemetery list I used showed Henry, but no Harry. And Ida is shown married to Frank--Henry Franklin. I think someone got him mixed up with someone else. Maybe you have some records which will help make it all clear.

I just stumbled on the Mariposa Gazette from the 1890's. Quite addicting!!!!
I deleted mine--although a search for N P would have found the misspelling. But I've never searched that way before making entries, so really can't expect anyone else to.
What worries me is that fact that hundreds of thousands of misspelled names are still "out there" on various lists, so may get added again. As long as people like you and me are keeping an eye on our local cemeteries, we can catch those as they appear. Maybe...
That should have read "Maybe you can add..."

Since the original only said Dick and had no dates, I deleted mine. Mayne you can add your picture to the other one.
