RE: T. E. Gaty #82816191
Sorry, I meant to imply the burial was no longer accurate, I did not mean for it to sound rude. I was rather trying to request that the two profiles be merged.

Col James Ruel Christensen Memorial # 137037941
This is my husband's uncle. If you are not related to him, would you mind transferring him to me?

Thanks, Johanna Christensen

RE: James Edward Monahan 49267071
Mike, I have seen those types of links on other memorials, but have no idea how to do it. I tried typing in the other persons name in the bio, but it didn't seem to work. Please let me know how to do this, then I'll try to leave you alone! LOL

RE: James Edward Monahan 49267071
Hi Mike, I finally found it on a free trial of I am going to type it in on his bio. Thanks so much for steering me in the right direction and your help in seeing there was only the one James E. Monahan who died in a plane crash in 1946! It helped me update my family tree on with the correct information. Pam

RE: James Edward Monahan 49267071
I came to the same conclusion. Don't know where I got the idea his plane crashed in Ohio. Must have been working in my sleep! I have also spent some time trying to find the article about the plane crash, but haven't found anything so far. Do you have the article or a link to it? I would greatly appreciate anything you can share with me. Thanks, Pam

RE: James Edward Monahan 49267071
I think that is what confused me about James Monahan: my James Monahan was also killed in a fatal air craft accident, in the same year, but in Ohio. He was also in the military. My James was married to Patricia Reilly and they had 1 son, James Monahan. She later married George Hamid, and James became James Monahan Hamid. The coincidences of both James Monahans death is strange. Anyway, I think I corrected the family link issue. Thanks for your input. Pam

Thanks Mike. Edit done.

May I prevail on your knowledge of military record sources regarding Frank's father Cmdr. Hugh Burton Robinson. Hugh was Lieut. of Engineers with the U.S. Coast Guard, Revenue Dept., from 1908 to 1914 [from the 1910 census and initial U.S. passport issued in 1922.] In the 1942 Civilian draft records he was associated he was either the port director, or associated with the Port Director's office, at the Port of NY. He died in-service July 1, 1945 at Brooklyn.

It is the time during WWI and then until 1942 that I am trying to fill-in.
