Joel's middle name
Correction: his name is not Joel Edwin, but Joel Edward. Please correct on Mom's memorial. Thanks.

Lola & Cora Gum
I am sorry I deleted Lola before I checked your information. They each had a husband named William.
Lola is buried there, also. It was not an errenous entry. Thanks, Betty

Lois Cline Vandzandt

Hopefully you can help or direct me to someone who can. According to her death certificate, my ancestor, Lois Cline Vandzandt, (Vendzandt) is buried in the Cargile Cemetery. She passed at the age of seventeen on Jan 6, 1917 after childbirth. Is there anyone who can provide a photo of her headstone? Thank you so much!

RE: Age
I agree. The 1860 and 1870 census data is pretty consistent with 1834 as his birth year, but there is a hiccup in the 1880 data. Even the 1900 census, which reflects his age as 67, is still consistent with 1834.

I appreciate the timely follow-ups.

Question about Richard W. Shipley
This isn't meant to challenge...more of a curiosity. I haven't found a death certificate for Richard, who is part of my wife's extended family, but I wonder why his Find A Grave memorial reflects his death date as 7 Apr 1909, yet the attached note says he "cut his throat on April 9, at 6 o;clock." ???
