I am an retired electrical engineer who got into family research a few years ago. Now am an adict on finding family history I live in Michigan, which itself is a font of history, and have found that my family were pioneers and have famous connections, much of which I hadn't known about. Taking pictures of headstones connected to the family has helped tidy up family relationships, since with the headstone dates, a person can go and look up old newspapers for more data. Along with some other sites like ancestry.com, findagrave is a nice way to leave some of that history to be found by others.|

|Donna DeVries||Elmer Manville|
Well that is interesting as Elmer would be my second cousin. His mom is my mothers cousin and Lotties father Irving Drost is my Grandmother Lottie Hosfords half brother. Irvings mother was Ella Drost and his father was Dirk Drost . My Grandmother Lottie Drost Hosford Mother was Ella Drost and her father was Ira Drost . Ira and Dirk where brothers. Dirk died in June 1888 and two years later Ella married Ira. So thru marrage I guess we are some what related. Thanks for your information

Thank you for the information.
Sorry it took awhile to process the edit you requested. I don't get many and finally saw it. I transferred him to you as you are working on the Hawkes. This summer I spent months working on the Reids and related family and still didn't get it all done.
I'll get back to them one day.
Anyone else you want transfer I'll gladly send your way.
