I live in Oregon east of Portland and at the mouth of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. My husband and I live across the street from and old Douglass Pioneer Cemetery and that's where we enjoy taking a lot of our walks. We have some of our family, some neighbors and church friends buried there.|
I am enjoying working on our family trees, its hard not to take pictures of other graves, I know what a blessing it is to have help from others as I search to put the pieces together.

I do not have nor had heard about that book. one bit of trivia I can add is that my grandparents, John and Helen Edenburn were married in the Dollahon household.

You indicate that Peter Bowers was your great-great grandfather. He was mine as well.

I am doing some research on C. Lucille (Lofstedt) Johnson. I wanted to pass along her birthdate to add to the Find a Grave record for her: 18 April 1919. This is per the U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007. Here is a link to that information on Ancestry: http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=Numident&h=43933784&indiv=try
thank you. GB

Thanks for your work on this family! Not sure if you are related but I see a West Fork, Arkansas cemetery on your list - so maybe. I'm connected to these folks through Seaborn Caughman.

I have found ALL the Belongia's are related, this one is very distantly. Glad I could help.

Janice, I am part of a small volunteer group of individual that are assisting in updating/verifying/correcting and adding to Find A Grave memorials at the Clackamas Pioneer Cemetery. I see that you are maintaing the memorial for Florence Elizabeth G Schroeder. We have some questions on the correct spelling of Elizabeth and her brother Richard, who are buried at CPC, last name. Are you related? Would you PLEASE contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org ? We are attempting to correct what we believe may be a misspelled name on Find A Grave.
|KrudMartin||RE: Jemima Dollahon|
Daniel Christopher Dollahon and Jemima Ward are my 3rd great grandparents. Their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Dollahon 1834-1867 is my 2nd great grandparent. Her brother was George Dollahon. Sarah married Charles Henry Barney.

Thank you Janice. I wasn't sure you'd like the photos since there is a family stone and John's marker is below that stone. I was trying to get both of them together but then you couldn't read any inscriptions. So, i am happy you are pleased with the two separate photos.

Hi Janice, my name is Herb Martin and Jemima Gessimia Dollahan or Dollahon is my 3rd great grandmother. Thank you for putting this in FindaGrave. Her actual grave site is unknown but her husband, Daniel Christopher Dollahan is known and he is buried at the Moravian Cemetery in West Salem, Il. In your entry for Jemima you mention a book by Virgil Dollahan. Do you know how I could see this book or who has it. I live near Chicago, Il and never knew about the Dollahans until this year. I have cousins in Oregon related to this family. I hope you can help. Herb
