I live in Maplewood Missouri.|
I can go to several cemeteries for pictures.
Please let me know if we can help. My helper is my 13 pound dog Lola who chases the birds and other critters around while I look for tombstones.
My family names that I am working on are Strang, Durham, Franks, Ing/Inge, Pickering, Marlow, Gonia, Bridges, Asher, Abbott, Tucker, Burgoon, Godwin, Sharp, Bothman, Bull and several more.

Thank you for responding to my photo request so quickly. Such a shame there is no headstone but thank you so much for taking the time to visit and get us the information.
Thank you so much for photographing Minnie Goldman's stone.

I'm working on a project on Calhoun County, Il and its Civil War Soldiers.
Currently I have a Pvt. Elijah Harmon who joined the 11th MO INF Reg. US in Calhoun in the summer of 1861. He died in the 11th's assault on Vicksburg on May 22, 1863. An application for Elijah's soldier's pension was filed by his widow Catherine but I can find no other information on her or a minor child. I can find no record of him after that. In looking at the photograph you have posted on the above memorial I am wondering if there are any letters or other bits that you can make out on your copy of the digital photograph. The picture posted on the monument cannot be adequately enlarged.
Any help you have regarding Pvt. Harmon or his wife would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking this picture of George's memorial plaque, and especially for the close-up shot. Your volunteer work is much appreciated.
