Small error. She died in 1979, not 1978 as shown. I was there as were your parents and sister.

When I visited in 1974 there were three wooden headboards for John Henry, Winnie and George. The graves were badly sunken also. At some point someone put up a headstone for George but I would guess the other markers have been destroyed or sunk into the ground. But they were there.
My memory is that the main part of the cemetery was clear and you had to walk into an overgrown area not to far in to reach the three graves. I am not sure if this was a paupers area or just neglected.
This was 42 years ago and my understanding is that the cemetery has been left to rot and is in a not so good part of Atlanta.

Hello, there! Just visited my Great-Aunt Mike's crypt. She wasn't in the system (at least with the correct spelling - not sure how she's listed in their records), but she's entombed across from her brother, Bill, and mother, Mae. Once we found them, then we found her. I needed a map and two women from the office to try and find her. Thank you so much for her page!

Hi Eve, I just added a death certificate to the page of Winifred Faulkner/Calhoun. You had asked for a picture of her marker - and when I added the death certificate it sent you an email. There is no marker for her. The cemetery has been thoroughly and systematically searched and pictures taken of each and every marker there and those pictures added to the proper pages. About half of the graves at Hollywood are unmarked. I hope the death certificate helps you in your search. I have send you an edit (at the top of your bio page) to add her maiden name. She died of streptoccic meningitis. I have also added her full date of birth according to the death certificate.

Thank you for posting the tombstone of Margaret C. Augustoni, Memorial# 92052602. She is my aunt and I knew she was buried in Las Vegas, NV but not the location.
One thing I noticed on the tombstone is the wrong birth year. The correct year is 1900. The month and day are correct. Her sister, Lillian, who was born in 1902, had given me the birth dates of all her siblings. Also Margaret's first name is Cecelia (middle name is Margaret)and maiden name is Sosville. Realize the tombstone can't be changed, but perhaps a note of the correct date could be added to the Memorial. Just an added bit of information - John(Jack)Augustoni is her second husband. First husband was Armand St.Jean.
Thank you again.
