Bio

I'm retired and love doing family tree research. I live in Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan. I got started doing genealogy in the early 1960's and got hooked. I love taking pictures in cemeteries, walking around reading the information on headstones. I love to get the very old scrapbook pictures from different family members to preserve and share with other family members who do not have the pictures. I also like filling in the blanks in my family tree. Photos I have posted may be used for nonprofit genealogical purposes as long as they are credited to me. If you find a mistake or missing information on the Memorials I put up, Please email me with the corrections or any other information. If you would like a memorial transfered to you, just send me an email.

I manage mainly Floral Lawn Cemetery, But add other Memorials a lot.

Here are some things that would help make find-a-grave better and easier to use. Please use the "Edit" tab on upper right of the memorial to send suggestions or requests, so an automatic hyperlink is generated. Please provide memorial ID# for relationship link requests and your contributor ID# on transfer requests.

Please do a general search to make sure that someone hasn't added the person already before you do an entry. That will keep the duplicates to a minimum.

Please cite the place where you got the information or Picture and post it with the posting. Cite the Newspaper the obit appeared in, with the Name, Date and page.

Use of my pictures for your family trees on Ancestry.com is ok. All I ask is you give credit where credit is due and not claim them for your own.

Thank you for reading this and have a great time helping others in their quest on finding there family and friends.

Please Note: I do not respond to any unkind comments or requests.
