|Mary TS||RE: Isaac Le Mahieu|
I once again reviewed the information you've provided for Isaac's memorial -- very informative and historically interesting! As I pursue my genealogical research I tend to focus exclusively on the person or family at hand -- being reminded of Isaac Le Mahieu's journey and familial connections was fascinating. (My husband always felt that his father sported a French nose!)

I hope you won't mind that I added a 2nd picture of Isaac's gravestone. I removed quite a bit of overgrowth and added the crushed stones when I visited the Oostburg cemetery this past summer -- and didn't want my effort to go unrewarded!

He is buried at "Friedhof Wannsee II - Lindenstrasse", Berlin, Germany. This cemetery already exists at 'find a grave'.

|Kenny E||RE: Teresa Haen|
Sorry I just had a couple few on the Wille and one on the Haen but I'm sure they can be found at the Iola Library as that was the newspaper that they put everything in. I was doing a little bit of this for a friend his mother was a wille and her mother was a Haen. Did you see the picture that I uploaded on Tersa Haen wedding. My friend's sister might maybe have more pictures but I live in Independence and she lives in Iola. And she knows nothing about a computer. But I will see what I can do in time as I'm working on my family too. I will be adding Irene (Haen) Wille to her memorial page dated 1936 when Wilma (Wille) Burke was just a baby. Are you related to just the Haen because most of that Cemetery it's all family in one way or another. If you need anything else I can ask the family member because he seems to know a lot on the Family.Thanks Kenny

I think the section mentioned isn't C but is supposed to be section G and is located in the paupers section behind the housing development and is separate from the main cemetery. There are lots of 3 inch markers there with numbers on top.
email me from my page. Al Holter
|Marlin Miller||RE: Dan Smies|
I'm sorry I did not send a reply on your Smies requests until now. Some time ago I had double checked gravestone transcriptions at SCHRC. None of the Smies you requested are listed in Oostburg Cemetery or Oostburg Union or Gibbsville. They may have been buried there but they may have been un-marked or the stones were destroyed over the years. Sorry!

I was able to location Theresa's headstone and also found Peter, Lorraine & Tracy Elgeti. I will enter their memorials and if you would like them transfered, please let me know.
|Judy H||RE: Elgeti|
Glad I could help get her in the right cemetery. Love old photos like that.
