|I am a working widow, and since I discovered this site I want to add some forgotten cemeteries. I am from southern Ohio, and know of quite a few cemeteries that have been abandoned. It is my goal to catalog, and take pictures of as many of these graves as possible. I will work hard to get this done this summer. I know that these pioneers must have ancesters looking for them, and I hope to help them. I don't want them to be forgotten. |
If you ever find any mistakes in my interments, let me know by e-mail, and I will fix them.

Do you have any connection to Arvilla Wyant Fisher? I believe my grandfather was her brother Ezra Oliver Wyant who was born in Indiana and died in Momence, Illinois married Bertha Prairie and one of their children was my dad Oliver Wyant. I was trying to find out about her. Thank you, MaryJane Langford.
I should have said Scioto Furnace Cemetery.
Please add Hetsel L. Jenkins #13759092 to Claud (possibly Claude) and Falkie Jenkins, same cemetery, as their son. Thank you.
|Shelly||Olen and Frances Granger - German Methodist Episcopal Cemetery|
Hello. I wanted to say thank you for the photos of the grave stones of Olen and Frances Granger located in the German Methodist Episcopal Cemetery which you posted on Findagrave.com.
As for your photos ... may I have permission to post them (and any other of your photos of my ancestors' and/or their graves that you may have posted or will post in the future) on my Ancestry.com file. I post a message under the photo giving credit to the person who took the photo. I have no interest in publishing any books or using the photos in any way other than for genealogical purposes. I have several things I post under the photos depending on the "owner" of the photo's desires. I have two below ... if you will allow me to post your grave photos on my Ancestry file then I'll place the statement of your choice. The second one has a _____ in it and that's where I would place your e-mail address so people can contact you directly for permission.
NOTE: This photo was obtained from a Findagrave.com photo volunteer and the volunteer has kindly given me permission to post this on my Ancestry.com file. You should take the steps to contact the owner of the photo for permission to use this photo for your personal use ... permission is NOT granted by me for any use as it is not mine to give.

Again, thank you so much for your kindness ... Find A Grave volunteers are wonderful people :-)

|George McCormick||Neill Barbee in Greenlawn Cemetery|
Neill Barbee in your site and Neal Barbee in the Ohio and Erie Canal history are one and the same. In fact Neill Barbee is Cornelius, Hyatt Barbee. His stone in Greenlawn simply has C.H. Barbee. His son is William H. and he , his wife and young daughter are also buried in Greenlawn.
His daughter was Alice Barbee who married James Mitchell and she is buried in Greenlawn. It is obvious he did not care for the name Cornelius and went by Neill!!
Dr. George R. McCormick. My great grandfather Joshua Barbee was the uncle of Neill Barbee.
