Colorado Springs Police Officers killed in the line of duty and were fellow Officers and friends with my brother.
There is a special place in my heart for the Moore, OK tornado victims and for the whole town. My husband and I lived in Moore and Norman in 1989-1992. Our only child was born there during that time.
My husband's niece's husband, Mark Byrd passed away Aug. 15, 2014. He was 41 years old.
My niece's husband, Aric Fleury passed away Jan. 31, 2012. He was 26 years old. It breaks my heart. I'm sure my mom is taking very good care of him!!
My mother, Marie Wolf Doll Lemesany, passed away May 18, 2011. I miss her so much!
My father-in-law, Ewell "Gene" McGowan passed away Sept. 22, 2010.
My brother, Steve passed away July 30, 2008. It was on our mother's 82nd birthday. She was never the same after he passed away. They are together now.
My step-father, Richard Lemesany was one in a million!! He married my Mom when I was almost 13. We only had him for a little over 10 years but he made our lives so much better while he was with us.
My father, Louis Doll, Jr., passed away in 1971 when I was 6 years old. Researching his side of the family has been a challenge. He was born in Monument, Liberty Township, Centre, PA. His parents were from Munson, Clearfield Co., PA. He was raised in Wharton, Morris Co., NJ, and was stationed at Camp Carson (now Fort Carson) in Colorado Springs when he met my mother in Dec. 1946. She was born in St Charles, MO and was raised in Colo. Spgs., CO. My mom was Miss Camp Carson in 1945.
I was born in NJ, raised in Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., CO, and now live in Barren Co., KY.
Researching the following:
St Charles Co., Mo- Wolf, Gentemann, LePage, Himmelsbach, Klinghammer, plus other branches and twigs!!
Clearfield Co., PA- Doll, Bailey, McDonald, Jenney, Hendershot, plus some unknowns!! Please wish me luck!!
Wharton, Morris Co., NJ- Doll
Russell Co. KY- McGowan, Harris, Tucker, Popplewell and others

|Loreen Parke||1588501 William J. Parke edit with Mother Info|
Hello, I'm sure you remember my edit request to add the link for the above mentioned page's mother and the name/dates I provided were not adding up. I sent you the wrong Nancy Parke. The correct name of William J. Parke's mother is NANCY J. PARKE (born Smith) born: 8-13-1816 in Whitley KY and she died 3-21-1876 in Metcalfe County KY. I have searched with several spelling/name combinations and have not located a page having been entered for her on this site. Looking on William J. Parke's page, under his siblings I did see that on his sibling Robert Heard Parke's page Nancy Smith is listed as being the mother, but not with a link, only in the typed bio info. Would it be a problem for you to add this person onto William J. Parkes page in the typed bio section? Please advise. I can go into edits and enter the info in under other edits if that is of any help to you, please advise. Thank you. Loreen Parke

I received your message regarding my request to link William J Parke to his pareents and the info regarding the woman that I belived to be his mother - and the dates do not add up. Thank you for your diligence and for pointing that out to me. I will be going back through my family tree history and checking my info to be sure exaactly where the mistake lies. In the mean time, I would like to thank you again and I will double check my info. sincerely, Loreen Parke

Whew! When I pulled it up and saw how many edits you had there, I thought, "Oh, great! Now they can do that all over again!" That's a relief -- thanks for letting me know! :-)

Oops! I usually process pending edits first, but didn't do it this time! I see you had quite a few for James. Of course, after the transfer, the wouldn't go through on my end. I'm really sorry!

Hi! Thanks for sending the obit. It's quite detailed for the time!
I don't add post-1923 obits anymore, but I know it's a common practice, so I'm just transferring the memorial to you. :-)

I found her middle name shown as Gertrude on several of the public family trees on ancestry.com. I don't know if this is official enough for you to approve the change.

Please give my best to Ellen. She is a valuable asset and a great collaborator.
Thanks so much. Not sure where my mind was or if my brain was not talking to my fingers and my eyes did not notice.
