I have been doing genealogical research for 50 years. This site allows me to share the information I have gathered. Some of my lines are Guthery, Brock, Bradley, Speegle, McCain, Hardiman, Miles, and Cheatham. My husband's lines include Farmer, Woody, Childress, Allison, Chambers, Reynolds, and Mays. |
I am organizing my research for my children and grandchildren and sharing with anyone who is interested.

You keep John P. Browder, I will see if I know of any edits that I can send.
|Lynn||RE: Farmers in Resthaven Cemetery, Harlan, KY|
The edits are completed. I do not know anything about the Farmer family you mentioned in your message. To my knowledge, a lot of the Farmers' graves in the "Hendrickson Section" of Resthaven Cemetery were moved from another cemetery in Harlan County (known as Farmer Cemetery and/or Grays Knob Cemetery) at or near Grays Knob, Kentucky. While walking at Resthaven Cemetery, I sometimes take photos of gravestones and post them on the Find A Grave web site. Their gravestones are visible from the cemetery road.

I want to apologize for not getting this done sooner. I obviously don't check my messages on Find A Grave! It has been done and I'm sorry it took so long.
|Brenda Taliaferro||RE: Ella Mangum|
I came up with an Ella Maude Magnum Duke. Right death date and place of death but father was Charlie (her brothers name) and mother Ida. Barbara who is her Niece said yesterday that she lived in At tall a. I spent last night going through Oak Hill Cemetery for her headstone. Nothing. She died in Gaston, Alabama. Someone on Find A Grave said she died in a hospital, but did not give a source.
You have a group photo of the Chatham. Do you have all the names!

findagrave rejected my suggested edits to correct the information on George Daniel Eddy grave.
|KSparkman||Whoops. Replied to the wrong person!|

Since most of the Woody family are related in some way, you are probably some kind of cousin :)
