I have been having computer and email problems
It is through my own genealogy research and My Cousin Sandi that I stumbled across Findagrave, where a volunteer had listed a family pictures of their headstone.
My interest in documenting cemeteries and contributing to Findagrave really took off from there.
It's a pretty great thing to be able
to memorialize our loved ones and ancestors, help others in their genealogy pursuits, and preserve history all at the same time, and
that is what we are able to do
through this website.
Please let me know if you find incorrect information (spellings, dates, etc.)
on any of the memorial pages I have created, or have additional information to be included.
If you find a relative among those I have listed and would like editorial control over their memorial page, I will gladly submit a transfer request to the Findagrave administrators. Just email me and be sure to put "Findagrave"
in the subject line.

|Craig Knutson||Hansville Cemetery photo|
Hello Larry &/or Gerry,
My dad and I are working on a book about the Hansville Greenway and would like to use your photo of the Hansiville Cemetary sign. May we do so? We would be glad to credit you by name in the photo caption, if you would like. (We are dedicating the book to my mom, who is buried in the cemetery.)
Thank you for your consideration,
|Nancy Claussen||Find a grave George A Dingman|
Thanks for posting the memorial for George Albert Dingman, who was a cousin of mine, twice removed. I believe that the picture posted there is of his father James Dingman. I found that same picture in a history of Kitsap County on page 88 of Book IV Central Kitsap. It is listed there as James Dingman and has a handwritten note beside it by my grandfather who knew him and would have realized if it had been mislabeled.
I have added George's parents and spouse as links. Please remove the picture as it is already in use on George's father's memorial page.
Thanks so much, Nancy Claussen
|PSGS||Viola June Hubbell|
I can find no proof that Viola June Hubbell has died as of February 23, 2017. If you can find proof, please let me know. Otherwise, the memorial for her death in Silverdale Pioneer Cemetery should be removed.

|Shirley Blauser Pearce||Catherine Carbaugh|
Catherine was Gr. Granddad John George & Sussanna Stroh Blauser's daughter and sister to gr. granddad Peter Blauser
Catherine was living with her sister Polly in President in 1850. In 1860 she was living in Pinegrove twp. with her Mother Susan Blauser.
In 1900 she was living with her widowed sister, Rebecca Anderson, who was also a widow of Daniel Stover. Then in 1910 and 1920 she was living with her daughter Mary J. (Jennie) Schwab in Pinegrove twp.
Perhaps Rebecca was actually "Betsy?"
Joyce Carbaugh Aiken My Great Great Grandmother was Catherine Blauser who was a sister of Rebecca Blauser. Catherine lived with Rebecca for a period after their husbands died and she is buried in the Fertigs cemetery. She married and had 3 children with Edward Carbaugh: Mary Jane (Paul Schwab), John and William. Catherine was with her husband for a short period, maybe about 10 years before she left with him and spent the rest of her life with family members and finally her daughter Mary Jane(Jennie) Schwab for the last 20 years of her life. Shirley Blauser was a great help with this line!
Let's be honest, some of us have been hurt by people in church. Don't run away from church & God because of people. You will stand before God one day, not them.
