I have been interested in genealogy for most of my life – thanks to my Aunt Iola who wrote and contributed to a number of family histories. Lewis and I have always taken pictures of grave markers as a means of documenting our families. Last year this interest took us to Hants County, Nova Scotia. I have been posting the cemetery pictures we took on Ancestry and received a note suggesting I post my pictures on Find A Grave – and here I am!|
I would be happy to transfer any memorial page that I created to anyone who is closer to the person honored than I am. I welcome corrections and am happy to make additions.

Could you please transfer Jennie Devlin to me? #76022747. Thank you.
Hi I am interested in finding Hosea Brown in the Granite Hill Cemetary. ON your findings you posted the section and lot. When I was at the Granite Hill Cemetery there are no section labels in alphabets,so I was not able to find Section"O", there are only section labeled with names "madrone" and "oak" etc. Im wondering where Hosea and the browns are???? Please Help or if you can describe where they are in the cemetery that would be helpful? Thank you

Yes, you may send it to me. I would be happy to take a look before you repost. Are you descended from John Riggs?
I have no information on Wade Taylor but, could do some research to see if there is a connection. Sarah's first husband was George Vickery and their child, Georgia, was born after George died but, as far as I know, she still carried the name of Vickery. I have not yet found his cause of death. Some story out there about him being killed in a stage coach accident or Indian attack. We may never know the facts on that one ;). Thank you for you help in making this memorial factual.
May I transfer John Riggs (memorial # 113272745) to you? I did some editing as per your information. Is "Wade" Taylor part of the wagon train fantasy? You refer to Sarah's first daughter as Georgia "Vickery."
When I searched for Melvin "Montey", Find A Grave could not find him. Because he did not adopt the Army spelling of his name, I believe it should not be used for his memorial. As his name appears, I would expect Monty to be his nickname.
Thank you for creating the memorial!
But it appears when he moved to Michigan he did adopt that spelling; his second wife's memorial also has the last name spelled Montey - see #127335181. We have removed the 'nickname' spelling of his name.

You might like to revisit this posting. Seymour is buried in the Lr. Horton Cemetery in Grand Pre. I posted a photo of the headstone for he & his wife Clara Belle King. Clara Belle was born April 18, 1891 in Avonport and passed June 18, 1934 in Avonport from a Postpartum Hemorrhage. Please feel free to use this information and photo to make a correction.
|Gary & Bobbie Biermann||Mary E. McClure death date|
We just uploaded a picture of her stone in the Cutler Cemetery and noticed a difference in the date. Thought you might like to know.
Thank you for the additional transfers.
Robert Taylor was my great great grandfather. He had a shoe factory st Duke and Brunswick St. I think he also had a company called Taylor-Redden shoes on Barrington and Sackville streets. I was wondering if these buildings, or perhaps the facades, still remain and if there is some kind of plaque.
