INCORRECT BURIAL INFO

If I place a memorial in an incorrect cemetery or if cremains are later buried, please let me know the location of the burial so my memorials are correct.

***********************

Please use the Edit tab located at the top right of the memorial to let me know of any corrections/additions to my listings so that I may make the updates.

I spend a lot of time increasing the volume and accuracy of biographical information and links even for unrelated families.

I began studying my family history in 1976 and have been at it ever since. I love searching for members of my family tree and learning all I can about their lives.

Personal focus of research on:

The Lyman Family in America: the Ancestors & Descendants of Richard Lyman & Sarah Osborne from High Ongar, England, 1631.

Thomas Tolman, from Salcombe Regis, Devon, England and arrived in America in 1635 and settled in Dorchester, Massachusetts.

Cousins through our Tuttle line and possibly more
Hi, I saw your note on Cathy's site about your Tuttle line. I also descend from Wm and Elizabeth Tuttle and would be glad to talk to you, if we could pvt. email.

I believe that I also may belong to the Lyman family, as Lyman was an important name passed down to a number of the men in my Ct Merriman/Merryman line, including my 4th great-grandfather and his only son's only son. I've always wanted to learn about the Lyman family and hopefully locate my connection, and it appears you're the expert! :)

Ruhama Mozena
Hello! I am curious to know where you found the death date for Ruhama Mozena, buried in the McMullen Cemetery. She was my 2nd great- grandmother, and the date I had estimated was about 1909. Again, mine is just an estimate. I've been to the McMullen cemetery (about 20 years ago now), and there were no tombstones for either Ruhama or her husband, my 2nd great-grandfather Granderson Mozena.

Thank you!
Sincerely,
Diane Bowers

Information in Bio
I am curious to know where you found the information regarding Sardius traveling to California by way of Panama?
Sardius is my husbands great-great grandfather. I am currently working on a family genealogy book and in researching him, I have not come across that information. Would love to know more.
Thank you,
Terri

Information on Horace Ensign born 1793
Hello, there is a bio you posted for Horace Ensign that describes his contribution to the anti-slave movement in Madison, Oh and also talks of his home "The Evergreens". Can you tell me please where the information, particularly on the home itself was found? It is my understanding that the house was built in 1860? But men like James Birney ( who was the presidential candidate you spoke of in the write you) would have been dead several years before the Evergreens was built. I'm doing some research on the home, so ANY insight you can provide would be helpful. Thank you!

Thank you for the links to Delia's parents. If you look at the headstone photo, you can see where it had sunk and covered the dates. The caretaker dug up several of the Fiske stones for all of us.

RE: Oliver Lyman (1796-1843-5), a son of Gad Lyman & Prudence Bill
Unfortunately there was an error in our DAR prospective's lineage. She does not descend from Oliver Lyman.

Whitney Kipp #152803367
I like to read old newspapers (Library of Congress website) and try to match the people to their memorials. I believe I have found a story from the Washington Times dated 10/6/1916 about Whitney Kipp.

Thought you might find this interesting.

corrected my first submission, it says, "Sacred to," not "Buried in," after using a magnifying glass and realizing that yes, it says "Sacred to," not what I submitted at first. Please update. Thanks.
