Bio Photo ♥IN MY LIFE♥

There are places I'll remember
all my life, though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain

All these places have their moments
with lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
there is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
when I think of love as something new

Though I know I'll never lose affection
for people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
for people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life .... I love you more

John Lennon & Paul McCartney

I have to laugh when contributors use their bio page to reiterate the FAQ's of Find A Grave and preach to others as if they are too ignorant to read.
If you have used any photos that I have posted on Find A Grave on other web sites, the least you can do is give me credit as the photographer.

Mary Brown Stumbaugh

I have not been active on Find A Grave for several months, so please forgive my delayed response.

My mother spoke often about her Aunt Mary, making it a point to let me know that Mary was very, very special to her.

Sounds like you and I share opinions and perspectives with regard to Find-A-Grave. I have been chewed out several times.

Thanks for adding additional photos and information.

In My Life
Hey there Mrs. Fox, how are you? Haven't been on here in a while, so haven't heard anything from ya. I was just perusing and I saw the lyrics on your profile, they brought tears to my eyes. Unfortunately, since we messaged last, my Dad was diagnosed with cancer, he fought it like a champ for a few years, and we thought he had it beat. He wasn't sick, wasn't tired, was walking and exercising and gaining weight. All signs pointed towards a battle won. Then one day, he felt nauseaus and coughed up a little spittle of blood. We took him to the hospital, and the NO GOOD FU**ING CANCER WAS BACK :( . They gave my poor Dad 5 days to live, when he was just perfectly fine and getting better. Back to the lyrics, my Mother & Father were married for 40+ years. They were the only people that either of them ever dated, first love, and only love. My Dad loved the Beatles, as does my Momma. That song means so much to the both of them, as we were entering the church for his High Mass, we had a singer singing "In My Life" as we walked in. And we also had a man that could play bagpipes, play as we left the church to go to the Cemetary. Most mornings, when my Mom gets up early for some alone time with no distractions, she plays "In My Life" on youtube and cries for my Father, and it breaks my heart. So THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THE LYRICS ON YOUR PROFILE, IT HAS MADE MY DAY, AND YOU OWE ME SOME KLEENEX TOO!!!

FAQ guidelines
Hi Kristy,

I noticed that you made a comment about people reiterating Find A Grave guidelines in their personal bio area. Do you think it might be because most people don't read the guidelines? I have to admit, I may not have read ALL of them myself. Most people probably don't read the profiles of the members either.

One of those guidelines, which I'm sure you have read, discusses placing bio info in the virtual flower note.

"Additionally, biographical information and obituaries are not to be included in a virtual flower."

You violated this guideline on memorial 68331011 and maybe others.

If it is important enough to you to put on the flower, it may be something that others would like to know. That is why Find A Grave has this guideline. The flowers eventually migrate off the main page if enough are posted and then people may not see the info if they don't routinely look at all the flowers. Please send it to the manager to include in the memorial bio.

On the other hand, if the manager is being difficult, please drop a note to and ask them to please add the info to the bio.

Thanks for your help.

p.s. I will do that for you eventually. :)

Laura Akins
Hello, I am beginning to do some research on my mother's side of the family. Her father was Virgil Akins and his parents were Victor and Laura Akins. My mother has informed me the Laura's maiden name was Fox and that many are buried at Lake Creek Union Cemetery. If you have further information, please contact me. Thanks
