Bio and Links
Bio Photo I never thought I would get this much enjoyment out of researching my family tree. My friend bugged me for years to do it, but I just wasn't interested. After an incident sparked my interest, I am hooked.

I especially enjoy being able to add a headstone photo to the memorials I have created. I have traveled far and spent a lot of time finding information. With that being said, you are welcome to use any of the photos I have added including obituaries.

Some of the names I am interested in are Hunsberger, Davis, Osborne (and every variation), McIntire, Barrett, Wenger, Keith, Spies, Metzler, Topper, Brewer, Kissinger, High, Schrenker, Reed, and Onan.

I love meeting new people and sharing information, so feel free to contact me. I would be glad to add or correct any information on the memorials. Just let me know.

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.

Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Would you know where Thomas McIntire''s father is buried? His name is also Thomas McIntire, 1744-1820. He is my husbands 4x great grandfather and we would love to know his resting place.

Thank you in advance.

Peter Hunsperger

I have a quick question. I was researching an ancestor of mine (Samuel Hunsperger) on and couldn't find any documentary evidence of his parents. I did find the find a grave page on him that you are administering, and I was wondering if you had any documentary evidence that links Samuel to the parents you have listed. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Andrew Jackson Davis
This is confusing, but I'll try to keep it short. Marriage of Martha A. Gooding to James Malada/Malady bef 1879. Marriage of Martha A. Malada/Malady to Andrew Davis 14 Aug 1883.Marriage of Martha Davis to Elmer Roberts 16 Sep 1899. The last two marriages in Madison Co.,IN. The 1900 Census shows Mattie (Martha) and Elmer in Lafayette Twp., Madison Co., IN. HOWEVER, the 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930 Eel River Twp., Hendricks Co., IN show Andrew J. and Martha/Mattie living there. In 1940, Martha is living with Edgar Davis in Danville, Hendricks Co., IN. Have I gotten two different families connected? Any suggestions? Thanks, Jim

I am looking for information on Andrew and his third wife, Martha Gooding. He had three wives and apparently he was her third husband. There are conflicting "stories" about Martha, i.e. birth, death, etc. Do you know anything about her to help me out? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim

RE: Samuel Davis
Sharon died in April 2012. I had spoken with her sev times and took many many pictures of stones for her here in Madison Co IN as she could not get here to take them. But didn't mind bec they were all in my file anyway. Sharon and I were not blood but related to a lot of the same people.

Why don't you put your tombstone picture on my memorial and link up everyone bec my picture is a closeup picture so everyone can see the name etc... for Samuel Davis. I had gone back to Cunningham Cem to do the Cunningham's for Sharon and saw the Davis so went ahead and did it since my ex sister in law is a Davis. And then saw all the Ashby's and my gr aunt was mar to Ashby which these are all his family so took those and put them in. Sharon originally put the Cunningham's in and now some girl takes care of her memorials.

So if you want to put your stuff on my memorial and make it one that would be great.
