RE: Nita Cole grave
Double checked location with Green Hills online database. Always do a check when unmarked. Same location. No DOB and the DOD is 5/13/1980. However, many times the DOD they put on the website is date of burial. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

RE: Thomas Tribby, #53833394, Moorhead
Yes I would like to have a copy of the transcript. My email address should be shown on my page. And Iíll sent you what I have on the obit. Iím convinced that my Thomas was not buried there, so the headstone must be for yours, Thomas Jr. So did he come later? Is the obit wrong? Was the headstone (now missing I guess) just a memorial? As to the census records, Iíve just been digging through them again, and I think we have all 3 Thomas Tribbys: Senior, Jr., and mine, so we can compare those too. I just found one that looks like Thomas Jr. in Jefferson Co, VA (now WVA), right next to Loudoun Co., in 1830. Thanks Beth, looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Beth. The circumstantial evidence looks very strong, but it would be nice to find something to clinch it. I've been thinking about looking for a probate for Deborah, but even if I could find one, it may not help. Do you have any thoughts on how Thomas, Jr. came to be buried in Moorhead, or to at least have a headstone there, in light of the obit for Nancy that doesn't include him in the migration story?

Thomas Tribby, #53833394, Moorhead
Hi Beth, you and I were in touch several years ago about Moorhead Cemetery, and you said it looked like we're related because you're a direct descendent of the above Thomas Tribby. Recently I've been researching whether that grave could be that of the other Thomas Tribby/Tribby, my ggg grandfather, who was married to Priscilla Mundell. The basis for this speculation is that many Ancestry family trees report that latter as having died 1848 at Holmes Co., and report that the former died in VA prior to 1835, based on the story that Debra Poulson emigrated in 1835 from Loudon Co., VA, to Holmes Co., OH, with 10 of her children, but apparently without her husband. I just determined that we can be certain that my Thomas died in Auburn, DeKalb Co., IN, about 19 Aug 1849, and apparently was buried in Old Auburn Cemetery. So I have a question: was your Thomas Tribby the brother of John Tribbey, who was the father of my Thomas Tribby? And that's how you and I are connected? It seems obvious for a number of reasons that the 2 families were closely related, but how? Thanks,

Could this be the Honore Fusilier you requested the grave photo?

RE: Hiram Estes / Paulina
Hooray! Neat.
Now they changed the weather forecast. If it stays lousy weather all day I will wait until tomorrow or the next day to go up there.
Lately they keep changing the weather forecast sometimes two or three times in the same day! And, one station says one thing and another station says it is going to do something else!
Hopefully I will be able to get up there this afternoon and get your pictures FINALLY.

RE: Hiram Estes / Paulina
You haven't received any edit notifications for edits because they don't send edit notifications anymore. They put them where I explained yesterday, that they go now.
Maybe the problem is that you don't know how to get onto your profile page? Is that it? Maybe you don't know what a "profile page" is?
I know you know how to get onto Hiram Estes page. If you get onto Hiram Estes page, down at the bottom of that page is your name as the person who created the page for Hiram, right? Click on your name, Beth LaGrone. That opens up your profile page that says your name at the top and your Find A Grave # and how many pages you have made on Find A Grave and how many pictures you have taken and all that good stuff you have done, right?
Up at the top of the page right under your name is a tab that says Edit on it. All you have to do is click that edit tab and it opens up a page that shows what edits people have sent you. That is where edits go now. They do not send edit notices out anymore that you have gotten edits. It is up to you now to get onto your profile page and open the edit window to see if you have any edits that need to be taken care of.
Anyway, that is the easy way of doing it.
You don't have to do it that way. You can do it the harder way if you want to.
It takes me more time to type out the edits in a separate message and send them and then you have to do the edits one at a time and add them to their pages.
So if you need to do it this way this is the edits I sent.

The grave locations for the Estes are=

Hiram's grave location is= Roselawn section, Lot 20, grave 8

Pauline's grave location is= Roselawn section, Lot 20, grave 9

There are so darn many things to learn on computers it is amazing. I don't know how to do a lot of things myself either.

RE: Hiram Estes / Paulina
OK, great. You done good.
But, you did not answer my question from a few days ago about the edit I sent to add Hiram's grave location to his page and do you know where edits go now in Find A Grave's new edit system.
So I will assume you don't know the answer to that question but I can only guess at that.
I will tell you.
You have to get onto your profile page. Up at the top of that page are some tabs.
One of the tabs says "edit" on it, the one in the middle right under where it says your name up there at the top of the page.
Click on that edit tab and it opens a new window showing who has sent you any edits.
I just sent another one, an edit for what Pauline's grave location is.
Off to the right it gives you the option of "accepting" the edit or rejecting it. So, if someone sends you an edit and you know it is not right, than you can reject the edit.
Down at the bottom of that window is a button. You click that button and it automatically does all the edits for you so you don't have to do anything but push that button to process any edits you have.

Hiram Estes
The snow is pretty much gone now. No sun today so I am going to go up to the cemetery tomorrow when it is supposed to be sunny.
I checked with the cemetery and they said that Hiram Estes' wife Pauline is buried next to him. She has no gravestone either and has never been added to Find A Grave as yet. Do you want to make the page for her or do you want me to do it.
If you make the page can you click the button to request a picture of her grave site?
Pauline's date of death is= Sept. 24, 1925 in Portland, Multnomah County. Born about 1850.
